Founded in 1966 by Dr. Ned Johnston, St. Francis Animal Clinic of Naples became accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) in 1974. Dr. Jeffrey Noble joined the practice in 1977 and became the sole owner in 1991. The American Animal Hospital Association is the only organization to accredit companion veterinary hospitals.
Sometimes parts of an exam cannot be done on awake veterinary patients. In the best interest of the patient and medical staff, some items may be skipped or sedation may be required to properly evaluate important parts of your pet. Lab work is generally recommended as part of the routine annual evaluation, with more specific testing based on abnormalities noted at home or during our exam.
Grooming is not just a way to make your pets look pretty, there is a lot more to this veterinary service. Regular grooming can help prevent matting, control shedding, alleviate skin irritation and identify abnormalities that are not easily noticed. We recommend having your pet groomed every four to eight weeks, depending on the length and condition of your pet's fur.
While you are out of town, you can take comfort knowing that your pet is in good hands with us! We understand that some dogs and cats can find being away from home stressful. We do our best to make your pet's stay with us as comfortable as possible. We have kennels of various sizes for cats and small to medium size dogs.

The entire staff at St Francis Animal Clinic are friendly and helpful. I’m often able to schedule my dog for a quick visit for his medication with very little wait. They can often see me same day or next day. I only take my pup to the best veterinarians and St Francis has definitely earned my business.

From the moment I walked in (as a non customer) to having my cats surgical procedure completed within a week - every step has exceeded my expectations. My goal was to have my cats lump removed and the Doctor agreed. I want others to know the office and vet treats you like a familiar friend with your pets interest number one. 100% exceptional - my cat is doing great.
