We at Delta Chiropractic Associates know that health is the optimal state of physical, social, and mental well-being. Not merely the absence of dis-ease. We understand that the health of the human frame is the key to over-all good health and wellness because of its relationship to your nervous system.
Even after over 100 years of serving humankind with chiropractic care, there still remains some misunderstanding with regard to chiropractic. Most of us know that chiropractor's can help with neck and back pain, but chiropractic care goes much beyond that. Chiropractic philosophy is based on the fact that the brain and the body are in constant communication with each other.
I used to go to a chiropractor in Wisconsin and when I moved to the U.P. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that he did a better job than the one in Wisconsin did! My wife had a herniated disc that the doctors said that chiropractic care would not solve and that they had to do surgery. Dr. Brian was able to take care of this without surgery and since we did not have insurance we were able to work out a payment plan.
It is hard for me to believe that I am going on more than 18 years serving the community at Delta Chiropractic Associates and living here in Escanaba - it has definitely become my home. I love it here and I absolutely love being a Yooper! I grew up in Eagle River, Wisconsin where my primary interests revolved around sports and the outdoors.
Today, more and more of us are interested in a higher level of health called Wellness. Beyond merely feeling better and preventing health problems, we want to fully enjoy life by being at our very best mentally, physically, and socially. The World Health Organization has my favorite definition of health.
