Gonzalez grew up in Miami and attended high school at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy. She is a proud Gator alumni from the University of Florida, where she received her bachelor's degree.

We need to know if you have some chronical disease, whether you are taking some medication, whether you are allergic to some substances. This is especially important in order to know which medicines we can use in your case.
Fillings made of composites are used today more often than dental amalgam. The reason is that the teeth with composite fillings are healthier than ones with amalgam and at the same time more beautiful. Different shades of composite fillings allow us to restore your tooth so that it matches the rest of your teeth color.
Inlays and Onlays are restorations whose properties place them somewhere between filling and crown. The technique of making them is similar to crown's. A dentist will do the drilling and send your impressions to a dental lab. However, they do not cover the entire tooth as crowns do. They are used in cases where the cavity is too large to have a regular filling.
Crowns are there to protect your teeth from fracture and to make them beautiful. Their shape, size and color are adapted to your other teeth and together with them make your smile beautiful. If you ever been to a GOOD dental office you could tell all the shortcomings this office has. The dental assistant had to do my x-rays twice after I was already seated and ready to start the treatment because she didn't know what she did with them (the machine is very old as well). The same dental assistant/hygienist used the same gloves to take the x-rays, she touched everything, and she intended to use the same gloves to do cleaning. Very careless. The same person, performed the cleaning and I found myself full of paste all over my shirt and face, she couldn't even handle a napkin, a cup of water

I went to Dr Perez for a cleaning and Invisalign consult. I went to the same dentist for 28 years with the same dental hygienist as well. I have had receding gum lines for years. My dentist wanted to do a very expensive and painful skin graph. Dr Perez suggested a resin that covers the exposed tooth and protects it for years. It was painless and very affordable compared to the skin graph my dentist suggested!! Dr Perez’s dental hygienist was hands down 100% better and more gentle than the one I had for 28 years! I was scanned for the Invisalign and will be back in January to get them made! I

It was my first time here and from the very start when I called the front desk she answered all my questions and she helped me with making sure I would be seen and my insurance covered the services. Awesome! I heard about Advanced Smile Dental from some friends that work with me. They highly recommended this place several times but I was hesitant because it was all the way in Miami and I live 45 minutes north in Coral Springs. It was well worth the drive and I have found my new and permanent Dentist, Laura Perez, D.D.S. she is supported by an efficient and pleasant staff. I'm not one to frequent dental offices and have not been succesful finding a dentist l liked. At Advanced Smile Dental they made me feel very comfortable. I'm not the bravest dental patient so that was of utmost importance

Without a doubt the most inviting, knowledgeable, and polite dentist and staff in the area. I have been searching for a office that I feel comfortable in for almost two years, since moving from Gainesville, FL.
It doesn’t hurt knowing that the dentist is a Medical Doctor and graduate of NYU. It doesn’t get more prestigious than that folks. NYU is an institution known for being at the forefront on innovation in the practice of Dentistry.
