I am a self employed. I am a procrastinator. Having said this, I called July 15th 2020 the day taxes were due, with no appointment, panicked! My normal tax man retired this year and I waited until the last minute to decide where I could trust my scrambled tax information! I work in a Salon full of girls that had put their trust in full with this Association! Then I called, they were happy to invite me in during these “uncertain times”! I struggle with anxiety, so you could imagine my nerves! They made me feel relaxed and confident that we could solve all my tax questions! I will definitely

I contacted Whitney Stith at the recommendation of a friend and neighbor who has income/expenses from several family farming operations, as well as a regular job and has been a client for years. I figured if they could handle his diverse situation, then they would be a good fit for my small, home-based business. I have been very pleased so far. Whitney and his staff have always been helpful and available to answer my sometimes numerous questions regarding my accounting needs. I would recommend them.

2002 it was a great company til Matt left. Underpaid from what I understand. His replacement owes IRS thousands, he's making payments. Thats what he told us. Our taxes haven't been completed properly since 2012. After several years of broken promises we replaced Whitney. OMG should have done it years ago.

Since I was about 13 I have been filing my friends/family members taxes for them utilizing many different online tax filers. This year, I hit a major snag and was practically pulling my hair out trying to file my own taxes due to quite a few major life events that occurred last year. I asked a few friends and one that I trust dearly recommended Stith, Wimsatt & Associates to me. I am definitely glad I followed his advice, as I was able to drop off all of my tax paperwork this morning and before the end of the day I was asked to come back in, review, and sign the documents for filing. Woo! One day

I was a walk in and needed a specific type of tax return. My father had passed in 2017 and I had all his taxes completed with the exception of his estate tax return. This was my last thing to be done to complete his affairs. I had them done by another company that said I owed an exorbitant amount of money. Something told me to have the return looked at just to make sure they were correct. Whitney Stith welcomed me in to his office, asked me some questions about the return and he assured me the other return was so very wrong and gave me my sanity back. Fabulous customer service experience by him

Apparently my return was complicated and out of the relm of expertise for Jackson Hewitt, so I turned to this accounting firm for help. Whitney Stith handled my case personally with attention to detail couple with compassion for all that was going on in my life at this time. I provided him with the materials I had and while he sent me off to get additional info, he began working on my return, diligently searching for more deductions for me, as it was 6 mths late and i owed a lot of money to the federal government. I brought my tax return information to him on Friday and it was complete the next
