As President of CEPEDA Associates, Star supports the Navy and our sailors by managing a passionate team of skilled professionals who design, qualify, test, and manufacture critical equipment for U.S. Navy Submarines, while meeting the shipbuilders' and Navy's technical, quality, and scheduling requirements.
CEPEDA's engineering team is well-versed in design, upgrades and improvements, technical support, and reverse engineering of products. These tasks range from as simple as modifying operating parameters to improve operation and reduce maintenance to investigation of new and innovative technologies. Alternative technologies are under investigation by CEPEDA's engineering team to improve/replace the existing life support technologies.
For nearly 20 years, CEPEDA has manufactured, tested, and serviced the Navy Standard AHPD. This unit is a high pressure air dryer that removes moisture from the output air stream of high pressure air compressors. The AHPD showcases CEPEDA's capabilities and requires the best machining, welding, NDT, and testing that we offer.
CEPEDA's quality system provides a structured quality environment which meets or exceeds the requirements of both ISO 9001:2008 and MIL-I-45208A. We have developed proprietary procedures and techniques to reliably produce high-quality equipment each and every time.
