This type of mold is fairly safe and is generally not a big threat to humans. In some cases, Allergenic Molds may cause allergic reactions to those who already have asthma or allergies. It is uncommon for people to experience any serious reactions and in most cases if they do have allergic reactions it will be things like rashes, itchy throats, and nose/eye irritation.
A typical septic system has four main components: a pipe from the home, a septic tank, a drainfield and the soil. Microbes in the soil digest or remove most contaminants from wastewater before it eventually reaches groundwater. All of your household wastewater exits your home through a pipe to the septic tank.
If you are buying a home. EPA recommends that you obtain the indoor radon level in a home you are considering buying. Ask the seller for radon test results. If the home has a radon reduction system, ask the seller for information about the system. If the home has not yet been tested, EPA recommends that you have it tested, prior to the purchase.
