Modern portraits and vibrant lifestyle images for personal brands and adventurous families. When I think about what gets me up in the morning (besides the obvious, coffee and my kids) it's other people. I wake up excited to connect with my family, with other parents at school, with the baristas who provide me that much needed coffee and with the people who hire me to tell their stories.
Connection is so important in this sometimes crazy world and getting to document those connections is something I'm incredibly honored to do. Based in Southern Oregon (Ashland to be exact) and happy to travel. I'm a mama, photographer, occasion-lover, coffee drinker, NPR listener and sometimes backpacker and snowboarder.

I don't know about you but every day that goes by feels like it went faster than the last one. Well, most of the time. Sure, some days feel like they last forever but usually life is busy and full of work and errands and cooking and cleaning and sometimes I worry that I won't remember any of it.
And I don't want to remember it in some perfect moment where my kids wore matching dresses and I actually had my hair and make-up done (OK, that would never happen anyway) - I want to remember us as we are now.Right in this moment. Me in a ponytail and my girls jumping like crazy on the trampoline.

Having photos taken by Kali is like shining a spotlight on the brightest, most beautiful aspects of who you are. She is able to create a feeling of levity, playfulness, and ease while at the same time capturing depth and detail. She took professional photos for me and also photos of my family. For each photo shoot she asked the right questions to get an idea of what I wanted, listened, and then worked her magic. I highly recommend Kali for personal and professional photos!

Kali did my maternity photos. The photos turned out even better than I had imagined, they were so gorgeous with just the right lighting and angles! Kali is such a joy to work with, she really takes into account your vision and wants then combines it wonderfully with her great eye and creativity. Kali makes your session so fun, yet super comfortable. In getting the photos back she is very timely and efficient. I will happily have her photograph me and my growing family for every future life event!
