Shortcut to Fitness is a personal training studio that delivers all of the benefits of exercise in one concentrated workout session per week using slow-motion strength training. Shortcut to Fitness is a unique state-of-the-art personal training studio. We provide guaranteed fitness solutions in a 20-minute once-a-week format. This program is for busy people who want to look better, feel better, and be healthier. We provide one-on-one slow motion training with certified personal trainers to ensure the best workout possible.
Under the direction of a personal trainer, you will perform exercises at a slow, smooth pace. By slowing down the motion we are increasing the work load of the muscles, involving more muscle fibers and working them more thoroughly which creates a greater stimulus for muscle development. Because the exercises work the muscles so thoroughly, you only need to work out once a week.
Slow motion resistance training focuses on deliberately slow and controlled movements, taking around 20 seconds per repetition. Moving this slowly on our unique Keiser equipment eliminates any chance of cheating by using the weight's own momentum. During this time we focus on maintaining the correct form and speed.
This state-of-the-art pneumatic technology allows for smooth, effective movements without the risk of injury. Because Keiser equipment uses unique air resistance technology, we can raise the weight on each machine one pound at a time with the push of a button. Without the inconsistency of weight stack machines, Keiser allows us to make slow, smooth movements without jerking, or gaining momentum.
Although our studio is very technologically advanced, our programs are affordable! Ordinary personal trainers can charge from $100-$200 per week or more, plus enrollment fees and monthly dues, for two to three hourly sessions a week. At Shortcut to Fitness you only pay for the sessions you use, and we never charge enrollment fees or monthly dues.

I have been attending here since April or May. I just adore this "Boutique Gym" It is like no other gym. Its not even a gym. Its not a gym in the traditional sense. The owner Joe is simply AMAZING, Patient beyond patient, He is just awesome. His business is Clean beyond clean, does not smell, it is quite, no traditional "thunk". I just simply adore, love and will never stop attending this fitness center. It is not a gym. Its an Short Cut 2 Fitness.

I've worked out here, one-on-one with owner/trainer Joe Valenty, 2-3 days a week, 20-30 minutes at a time, for more than two years. The results are great. My weight is down. My fitness profile (blood pressure, strength, agility, etc.) has improved substantially. Joe also improved my nutritional intake. Joe is terrific -- I've been with him since he bought the place. This is NOT your typical gym but is perfect for people who want to get the best possible strength-training results in the least amount of time. I'm definitely stronger and plan to stay that way.
