My husband and I recently went to Hobin & Hobin for legal advice and help with the promissory note and deed of trust for our first home. I came to Taylor Hobin through a recommendation from another attorney who I greatly respect. She told me he was thorough and knowledgeable, this description was spot on. I came needing guidance on a relatively complex estate plan. He was patient, spending the time to answer all of my questions, but most importantly, he was open to my comments and suggestions. He helped craft an estate plan to best convey my wishes for my particular family dynamics. Without a doubt, I would recommend working with Taylor.

Went in with a pre nup already drafted and just needed a lawyer sign off. $150, ok. Met with Taylor and he suggested some modifications. Set up signing for next day. Taylor sends email 2 hous before meeting saying it's now $400. Not ethical. No mention of additional $250 until right before our meeting.
Cons:
Taylor input was already covered in the agreement. Shows me he didn't read it thoroughly.
Bait and switch of $150 to $400.

I've been referring clients of mine to Richard Hobin's office for about 16 years. This man and his staff are amazingggggg. My clients always seem to be happy with him and he gets the job done. My clients have used his office for landlord/tenant disputes as well as probate. So friendly. So knowledgable. So awesome!
