My 1st visit to have dental work done and not just a cleaning... I have to say, BEST EXPERIENCE ever with a dentist. I had 1 onlay (1/2 a crown) and 2 teeth that needed the fillings replaced (ha, very, very old fillings). They make the crowns in house, 3 hours in and out and all done. ABSOLUTELY no pain, not even the shot. Here I am a few hours after the numbness has worn off and other than one side of my jaw feels a bit tired, STILL no pain and i have eaten and the bite seems spot on.
Totally state of the art on everything. Wow, who knew technology had come so far, not I....until now.

We live in the Bay Area and have skied at Bear Valley for years. Over the holiday, my 11 year old's orthodontic work broke, and he required prompt attention. Despite it being a holiday week, Dr. Russell's office responded promptly (we left a voicemail after hours and heard back within 2 hours). My son was in the chair first thing the next morning, where the problem was fixed.
Dr. Russell was on vacation, yet he was willing to get my son out of pain, and ultimately saved us from having to return to the Bay Area to get care.

We moved to the area 18 months ago but had procrastinated on finding a dentist. A broken tooth necessitated securing one pronto and feel very fortunate that I found Dr. Russell and his great team. I called at 9 AM and they fit me in by 9:30! Dr. Russell took care of the broken tooth that same morning and scheduled a full preventative appointment the following day. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and we have a treatment plan in place. Support staff is welcoming and friendly. I'm very impressed and will remain a patient, even though it requires a 30+ minute drive.

Dr Russell gets to know his patients individually. He has a great "bedside manner" and always lets you know what he's doing and how much longer it might be. Getting shots is always one of my least favorite things but Dr Russell is the best at it! My severely dental-phobic daughter will only go to him, because he is gentle and truly cares. I also love my hygienist, Shelly.

How often do you hear someone say that they had a very pleasant experience at the dentist's office? Well, I can honestly say that I did! One of my crowns that was a bit over two years old recently cracked and the side fell off. I called Dr. Russell's office and they were able to get me in very quickly. He felt that the crown should have lasted longer and, therefore, replaced it at no charge. As a senior on a fixed income, I am extremely appreciative of his fairness and efficiency. I have always found Dr. Russell and his staff to be very efficient and professional. We are very fortunate to have

This has been the worst experience and I'm saddened because initially it was great. I had an extraction and went on my way. A year later and many appointments to a sinus dr revealed a sliver of something was left at the extraction site. Not a big deal dr wanted to rule out if it could be affecting the sinus or if it was safe to be in there still. Called the 1st impressions office was told to get an X-ray which I did. It was out of pocket 100 dollars and I was unhappy by that. But, I paid it and they sent the X-ray to Dr.Russells dental office. I received a call this morning and the lady told

I can't possibly say enough about how amazing this dental office is. Last night my adorable 4 yr old grandson broke his tooth on the monkey bars. Dr Russell returned our call within minutes even though it was after hours. We sent him pictures of the broken tooth and He squeezed us in this morning as his tooth needed to be extracted ASAP. They took my little guy right it and wow! I was amazed by all the helpful, caring staff. Dr Li is the best pediatric dentist I've ever experienced. He explained everything and involved my grandson, even though he is only 4. They have the best explanations

The staff is professional, friendly and cares about making your visit as pleasant as possible. Also, follows up with patients when appropriate. Doctor Russell clearly explains what he is going to do and what you can expect to feel during the procedure. He is very efficient, a perfectionist and pain free!, The office environment is clean, modern, comfortable and has state of the art equipment. Wait times are minimal. I highly recommend 1st Impressions Dentistry.

Dr. Russell is the best dentist I have ever been to. Dr. Russell and his staff take time to listen and provide the best care for each individual patient.
