Chiropractic is based on the scientific fact that your body is a self-regulating, self-healing organism controlled by the brain, spinal cord and nerves of the body. The nervous system is protected by the spinal vertebrae. When these vertebrae become misaligned or lose normal motion, malfunction of the tissues and organs throughout the body result.
The main causes of joint dysfunction are mechanical, chemical, and emotional. Mechanical causes are referred to as micro- or macrotrauma. Microtrauma can also be called repetitive stress injury. Sitting with poor posture at a desk and typing all day can cause problems such as carpal tunnel, neck, upper back, or low back pain.
First your spine loses its normal balance. There may be a loss of normal spinal curves. Your nerves may be affected and the vital life energy that flows over them is interfered with. Also your joints, discs, nerves and posture are stressed and age more quickly. Surprisingly, there may be no pain other than occasional minor discomfort.
Subluxation is a term used in the chiropractic field to describe what happens when one of the vertebrae in your spine moves out of position. The word subluxation is derived from the Latin words meaning somewhat or slightly (sub) and to dislocate (luxate). When this happens, the misaligned vertebrae creates pressure and stress on the spinal nerves, blood vessels, and surrounding muscles.

I will highly recommend Dr. Weatherley as long as he is practicing. I have seen several chiropractors in the Central AR area and spent a lot of my time/money. None of them were able to help me like Dr. Weatherley has. He is a master at his work. I suffer with severe migraines, lower back issues, TMJ, etc. He has helped me to get back to normal life, without having to rely on pain medication. He also treated my husband and I after a major car accident. Without him, we would both be very messed up. His staff is wonderful, as well. 100% Recommend.

Dr. Weatherly has changed my life. Several years ago I went to a class he gave on Fibromyalgia. Having just been diagnosed and I was in extreme pain all the time. Dr. Weatherly has taken care of me and without hesitation I can say he truly has given me a quality of life back. Dr. Weatherly explains everything in a way that I can understand. He always takes great patience with me and I never feel rushed to get in and out like other doctors treat you. If you need your life back, go talk to him. He is there to help. When I started seeing Dr. Weatherly, my back pains were so severe that I was having trouble walking and sleeping. I was afraid I had done something to permanently damage my body to where I wouldn't be able to function normally. Ive been seeing him now for about 6 months. I highly recommend Dr. Weatherley for your chiropractic needs! Not only does he always know how to "fix" me when I need it, he takes the time to carefully explain what is causing the pain and what he will do to correct it. He has helped me throughout 2 pregnancies with limited or no pain and no waddling!! My 1 year old daughter had double ear infections and when I brought her in, she went from screaming in pain, to asleep, in less than a minute. He knew how to gently adjust her with just a light touch of his finger. I was amazed and so happy to see her relief! I wish everyone could know how beneficial
