I recently brought my Great Dane to this animal hospital and I was extremely impressed with the care and attention that she received. From the moment we walked in the door, the staff was warm and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make me and my dog feel comfortable. The veterinarians at this animal hospital are knowledgeable and skilled, and they were able to diagnose and treat my dog's health issues quickly and effectively.
They provided clear explanations of the treatment options available, and they made sure to keep me informed every step of the way. What really stood out to me about this animal hospital was the level of care and attention that they provided to my pup. They recognized that she is a large breed and has unique needs, and they were able to accommodate her in every way, which I really appreciated.
I would definitely recommend this animal hospital to anyone in need of a new vet. The staff and veterinarians are incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive, and they truly care about the well-being of their animal patients. Five stars all around!

Love them! I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Parker and the nurses on staff. When I had to let my chihuahua go, Dr. Parker let me have all the time I could to say goodbye. I didn't feel rushed and the cremation process wasn't stressful at all. He is so compassionate and my new pups love him so much. Everyone listens to my concerns and takes the extra time to make sure all my questions are answered.
It is very difficult to find a good vet in this area, so I am glad we found them. They usually have same day availability, tons of resources if you have a specific concern, and medications on hand. My dogs are so lucky to have them!

I had never been to this vet before. One of my favorite things about this vet is that on their front desk, they have a candle and a sign that says "if this candle is lit, a person is saying goodbye to their loved one. Please show sympathy and respect." This vet is very caring about the animals that they treat as well as their owners.

Our poochan Boris was suffering from a heart tumor. After trying everything possible with our current vet, we knew it was time to say goodbye. When our vet couldn't accommodate our needs and schedule, we reached out to Howard County Animal Hospital. They're care, compassion and understanding in our time of despair brought warmth to our hearts.
They treated us like we had been their clients all along. Today we received a wonderful sympathy card in the mail that brought tears to my eyes! I would recommend the Howard County Animal Hospital to anyone and everyone. Their professionalism and compassion was beyond expectation. Thank you!

I took a recently rescued, sick feral kitty to Dr. Mira to get a full panel of tests, x-rays, urinalysis, etc. They scheduled the kitty very quickly and took great care in ensuring the kitty experienced as little stress during the visit as possible. Results came back very quickly, which assisted greatly in her long-term care and overall health. I will definitely continue to use this veterinary hospital whenever possible!

My first time having a pet of my own [that I pay for] and I landed in the right hands with Howard County Animal Hospital. I live literally minutes away so the location is convenient. I took my mini goldendoodle puppy Benji for his new patient visit. He acted very well and everyone was SO NICE to him. Dr. Mira was so patient with Benji while giving him his shots.
Though he wasn't moving too much, he still took great care of him. Upon leaving I received a packet full of information that is super helpful. This will be Benji's doctor home from here on out. Thank you Howard County Animal Hospital team!

Dr. Mira made sure to fit me in for an emergency appointment after my dog injured his leg. Poor buddy was whimpering NON-STOP and no other animal hospitals could see us that day. A colleague recommended Dr. Mira and not only did they get us in ASAP, they were on time, kind, and treated our boy like he was their own. Noodles is feeling much better today - Thank you HCAH, Dr. Mira & team

This is far away from home but honestly the best animal hospital so far. I called all the vets around my area for an emergency after my dog shattered his tooth in multiple places. He was bleeding. His pulp was exposed. No one cared to see my dog and they were giving me the option to book 2 months out, until I called HCAH. They listened to my concern and within the same day, he was able to be seen and put under anesthesia for a tooth extraction. And the prices were amazing as well. They followed up with me and called. They really care.

The whole staff here is amazing. My cat was terrified and angry, but the tech and doctor were so sweet that she purred thru her eye and ear exams, AND her two shots. They are people that animals trust. That says a lot. Trust your animals

HIGHLY recommend this vet, i will take my babies there as long as they live. Staff and vet genuinely care and remember me and my pets when we come in, they take the time to explain things and are extremely empathetic. I especially love that they have a sign and candle in the waiting area to signal when someone is saying goodbye to a pet so that others know to be sensitive. I recommend this vet to all my friends.

Dr Mira is, seriously, the best vet around! He doesn't just care for our pets, he genuinely *cares about* them. I will never take my pets anywhere else, and always bring him up and refer him when talking about our dogs. We constantly get great comments about our dogs, about how healthy they are (and behavior too), yes, its the owners job to ensure our pets health, but having a vet that cares as much as you do about them...makes it so very easy to keep them at their best! He and his staff are always kind, professional, and just all together awesome (his prices are very fair, too). He tells it like
