Dr. Russell Turner has been practicing dentistry in Pelham since 1978. He attained his dental degree from the UAB School of Dentistry in 1976. While attending undergraduate studies at The University of Alabama, he met his future loving wife Linda and they were married in 1973.
They have two adult children, and when he isn't busy caring for his patients, one of his top priorities is spending quality time with his extended family, including four beautiful grandchildren.A few of his hobbies are boating and fishing, hiking, and just being outdoors. On certain saturdays in the fall, you may find him cheering on The Alabama Crimson Tide.

This is my 2nd time this year visiting for emergency extractions. Both times I was fitted in the same day. Every person in the office is friendly and puts me at ease. No rudeness here! Dr. Kentros is by far the best dentist I have ever encountered and trust me I've been to dozens over the span of 50+ years. Like many, I have a major fear of dental work, so my priority in choosing a dentist is someone with an excellent bedside manner, who doesn't lecture me or seem rushed or push unnecessary expensive procedures. Sydney was Awesome!! Sooo personable and engaging!
I came to Dr. Turner 9 years ago because I heard this dentist was great and provided gentle cleanings.
Last week was my first experience with their new hygienist Sydney. I absolutely love her. I will request her every time I go in for teeth cleaning.
My family loves the staff here. Now with Sydney, they have gone from an A to an A+!
