His deep tissue technique was unique and provided relief from a shoulder injury I've suffered with for a couple of years. He relieved some mid back pain as well that was troubling me. 2 years ago, I was diagnosed with a herniated disc caused most likely by spinal stenosis that is simply due to aging and genetic predisposition. I was 37 with an active lifestyle of trail running and climbing/mountaineering. My physical medicine and rehab doc pretty much told me that there's no real fix and I need to learn to manage this for the rest of my life. This was very difficult to hear. After months of PT and massage, I got gradually better, but I was still largely unsatisfied because my back still felt weak, and my goal was peak performance in the mountain or being able to train for it

I went for full body massage, ambiance and people are welcoming. Clinic appeared to be managed well. For actual massage, few minor adjustments are required to have a better experience. Example instead of applying cold massage cream, warm one would be a better choice.
My massage therapist, mainly focused on deep(hard/applying more pressure). To be honest, it was more hurtful than relaxing throughout my massage. Yes, I had an option to request, to go bit lighter, however I didn’t want to stop the flow, as I didn’t knew what to expect given each therapist have different style (like going hard
