My husband was racially profiled today after reaching out to a realtor Carmen Austin, MBA, CCIM regarding a potential rental property for a photography studio. Without hesitation or a formal introduction she inquired about "the type of business" he had and told him that a “studio" wasn't allowed without allowing him to fully complete his response.… Her tone. Her lack of interest in what his intentions were. Her lack of professionalism and assumptions made a simple inquiry an unpleasant experience. He was eventually told that someone else was interested and if they didn't sign a lease

If you want direct answers this is not the company to use. Very unprofessional. Carmen was also quite rude when I was able to get in touch with her. I had to get in touch with her to find out my credit application was denied and she couldn't give me an explanation why, just kept telling me "I'm not sure". When I asked her to find out the reasoning she never got back with me. I tried calling multiple times as well as my agent called her, left messages, text and emails and it's been two weeks with no word at all. The worst company! Don’t ever rent from them. We moved into one of their properties May 2016 and moved out July 2018. We had to BEG for them to send maintenance anytime something happened, like the sink breaking, or when it was June and the A/C went out and I was pregnant.
We also documented everything when we moved in both with pictures and on their move in form. When we moved out they tried charging us for everything that was already there when we moved in saying we owed them over $1,000. Our lease also clearly stated tenants under 12 months pay $600 for paint, tenants over 12 months do not
