We are a family-owned and operated small business in the DFW Metroplex specializing in flooring installation, wood craftsmanship, painting and many other trades for residential construction. Lawton Construction has been chosen by several of the largest home builders in DFW including Grand Homes, Legacy Homes, and K. Hovnanian Homes (formerly Goodman Homes) for a wide range of services.
Texturing walls adds character to a space. We can apply both traditional and more contemporary texture styles. Add skip trowel, orange peel, knock-down, crows foot, or custom texture to any room and you'll be hooked on the depth a little texture brings to a room. We install interior and exterior doors, base trim, crown moulding, window stools and chair rail.
You get the look of an expensive wood species for less and are often allowed more variety in installation methods. Tradition is never wrong. Hardwood are most commonly installed by nailing-down, or stapling to plywood installed below. Hardwood floors add value and character to a home and are often desired by new home buyers.
Neal made sure I was completely happy with the final product and completed the job within a reasonable amount of time. In my opinion, Neal conducts his business in an honest and professional manner. Listening to his customers and providing them with the best solution based on their criteria. I found Mr. Lawton and his crew to provide a quality, professional job at a very reasonable price.

If you never want your calls returned and to be left in limbo with potential mold in your walls for weeks on end...this is the company for you. I'm really at a loss with this company and their complete lack of costumer service. My insurance company booked them and communication has been nonexistent. I have only been called once in three weeks by the project coordinator Kristen to talk about the damage at the very beginning, the only other time she has called regardless of how many previous messages I have left, is to tell me that the field guys were going to be late (scheduled for 2-4pm arrival

We had an unwelcome sleepy driver crashed into our home while having coffee early on a Sunday morning.
The situation became all the more frustrating because the adjuster minimized the damage & the sleepy driver had the CA minimum liability Insurance.
However, Travis became my project manager & assured me the work would be done.
Ryan was sent to do our job & was kind, considerate, prompt, courteous & he does excellent work.
Both Travis & Ryan made an unpleasant experience much more tolerable.
It’s a lot easier to advocate for yourself when you work with a cohesive team.

After our house flooded, insurance went with this company. They quoted 2 months for the project, then after 6 months, they reflooded our house. One time we came in and the drywall guys were smoking in our house! This company doesn't have any attention to detail. We had to start being our own project manager because the one they gave us is incompetent.
