Services
Depend on Alpine Auto Service, Inc. to keep your car running smoothly. Founded by Lou Calka in 1980, Alpine Auto Service, Inc. has provided quality auto repairs to the Glen Burnie, MD area for decades. Whether you are experiencing an emergency or need scheduled maintenance, we can help. Before starting Alpine Auto, founder Lou Calka worked for Maserati Automobiles.
When you choose Alpine Auto Service, Inc., you can rest assured that your car is in the most capable hands. Our ASE certified technicians will treat your car with the upmost professional care to ensure you are back on the road as soon as possible. Some of our services can even be completed the same day!
Getting your car repaired or serviced can often be a frustrating and disruptive process. That is why the team at Alpine Auto Service takes the time to ensure that your auto repairs or maintenance are as convenient as possible. We will work with you to make sure your needs are met, while still keeping your car in tip-top shape.
Like a doctor or any other professional, it's best to find a good repair shop before you need one. Hunting through the Yellow Pages for a repair shop while waiting for a tow truck is not the way to go. You're not likely to make as good a decision when you're under pressure. The best way to find a shop is on the recommendation of a trusted friend or acquaintance.
Does the vehicle suit your needs? Sometimes a vehicle no longer fits the purpose for which it was first purchased. Sometimes situations arise that make your current vehicle incompatible with what you need it to do. For example, you own a 2-seat sports car and you just got married and are expecting to start a family.

Honestly no stars because that’s the amount of work they did on the car...I’m disgusted and on top of it lied about featured problems. I’m writing this on behalf of someone I know who had this experience because I don’t think this is fair at all to them so I’m speaking out about it. Businesses should really listen to their clients instead of an outside source because they could be telling lies. And if your reading this and apart of the crew I’m sure you know what I’m talking about.

When I moved to Glen Burnie, I used Alpine on the recommendation of a local friend and I have not been disappointed. Every time I visit I'm treated with integrity and professionalism. I would absolutely recommend Alpine to anyone I know.
Edit - I will happily continue to recommend Alpine Auto to all my friends and family. I've been going to them for two years now and have only ever had one issue during that time. The owner not only corrected the problem, but he went out of his way to rectify the frustration and inconvenience. This shop has so much integrity.

I've been taking vehicles to Alpine for years. I would say it has been a positive experience overall until now. We took our Ford Explorer in with approx. 90K miles for a check engine light and loss of power. We were told that we had bad compression on Cylinder #1 and that we needed a new engine for $6600!!! Needless to say none of that made any sense to me. When I tried to question other possibilities or options I was shut down and told we needed a new engine. I decided that a second opinion was in order. When my wife went to pick up the vehicle (much to their surprise) they made a show of how

These guys are the best. I have been going to Alpine for over 13 years and they have always treated me right. They fix what needs to be fixed and at a fair price. Lou, Tony, and Steve always answer my questions over the phone or over the counter. Wouldn't take the car anywhere else. Try them. You won't be disappointed.

The guys at Alpine Auto knows what they're doing. A lot of mechanics know what they're doing, but the guys at Alpine are HONEST at what they do too. They have a history of not only providing great service, but often opting for much less expensive options.
Last year, I was having a problem with the rear differential of my truck. I was told by several mechanics that I needed to have the differential re-built. The cost was going to be anywhere between 700-1000. I took my truck to Alpine and they suggested that the trucks in question often just need a slip additive to the differential. The cost was
