Dr. Toni Bilbao Preparatory Academy, a FEFPA 2018 Architectural Showcase Winner, is a brand new K-8 school in Doral, FL. It recently opened its doors for the 2017-2018 school year, and will serve as a prototype for other Miami-Dade County Public School facilities. Kai Condominium at Bay Harbor Islands is a luxurious seven-story waterfront condominium featuring 57 residences with high-end features completed in early 2017.

Thomas Thornton, founder and president of Thornton Construction Company, Inc., has been in the construction industry since the early 1990s. After graduating from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Building Construction, he worked alongside a couple of the top construction firms in Florida. Soon after he started his own company and was quickly successful.
A project of this magnitude and complexities required a tremendous amount of coordination and we believe that Thornton Construction Company performed excellently in managing the various trade contractors to minimally disrupt LAN's ongoing import oper. Thornton showed excellent communication skills, easing the burden of construction inconveniences on the facilities' staff and neighboring tenants.
