Originally from Northeast Ohio, Cerid Lugar obtained a B.S. in International Business Management from Tiffin University. From here, she went on to receive a J.D. from Liberty University School of Law in Lynchburg, Virginia. After working abroad in London, UK - where she also completed a post-graduate program at the London School of Economics and Political Science - she returned to Roanoke and founded Lugar Law PC in 2015.
Recently, an individual found themselves facing a class 1 misdemeanor after being charged with excessive speeding in the Roanoke, VA area. The client was charged with reckless driving, penalties for which include a permanent record (that can?t be expunged), six demerit points in Virginia, up to a $2500 fine, and other collateral consequences.

No wonder half of these comments are responded with “not a client” because no one can even get pass the initial phone conversation of answering with a “hello.” This attorney is unprofessional and has disgusting communication skills and presents herself slyly. Do not go here if you care about yourself coming from someone that has a PhD by their name. .

I hired Lugar Law, specifically Cerid Lugar to represent me in regards to a speeding ticket I received in Roanoke County. We agreed on a fee and I paid her. I sent her and her assistant a copy of the speeding ticket and a copy of my insurance verification. On her recommendation I had my speedometer calibrated and sent her the notarized results. She sent a letter to the judge stating that my speedometer was off. This all happened within a week and I felt confident the matter was being taken care of. Three weeks later I received a call form Luger’s assistant stating that they thought the ticket

We had our Wills, Power of Attorney, and Financial Powers drawn up. Lugar Law was very helpful explaining what each were and what we may or may not need.
