We have been working with James for a long time now. We have had several claims along the way and we couldn’t be happier with James and Statefarm. This guy helped me get my food truck off the ground with his complete and I mean complete knowledge of exactly what I needed to get moving down the road. When he told me to not hesitate to call him if I needed anything he wasn’t kidding. I called one night at 10 and needed rush paperwork and he handled it all - oh did I mention he was out of town, and still made me and my biz a priority.
You can’t go wrong with James and his team!

I would not recommend using this firm for insurance, let alone Statefarm in general.
One issue I had is my previous account manager - she would ignore and not respond to my emails until I sent multiple follow-ups and she always had the same exact excuse, stating that she "forgot" to click send and the email had been sitting in her drafts.
Aside from that, I've had a lot of serious issues. Before getting my new car I called to receive a quote and received the same price from 2 different people. It was an increase in my rate but I was okay with it as it was only about $25-30 more

James Cassady and his office staff are wonderful and helped us through an unexpected life event. Our house was burned to the ground in a fire, Dec. 2017. He was prompt to respond to our call and needs. The entire process moved quickly and we were informed of each step along the way. We were treated like family and always felt we could call and ask anything. Our State Farm adjuster also kept the lines of communication open and helped us through those first weeks after the fire. We have been with James since our arrival to California from Colorado. He was quick to get us the quotes we asked for, and was very helpful when we bought our house and needed to have our policy reviewed.
The biggest perk working with this State Farm office is that you are treated like family. When I call I am addresses by my name right away, and when I go to the office the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. I could not imagine being with another State Farm Insurance agent. I was fortunate my wife introduced herself to James Cassady, in our old neighborhood one day. Like a good neighbor, State Farm and James, were literally there.
All kidding aside, James was top notch. Customer service, accessibility, industry and product knowledge, all there. State Farm’s policies were a bit higher than some of their competitors, but his office staff was friendly and prompt to answer the phone or at least return communications when needed.

Received a cold call today from woman asking if I was interested in receiving a quote. I responded with "no thank you". I did not hang up, I was not rude, but her response was a smug laugh and drawn out "okay". It's probably best if your cold callers are prepared to hear “no thank you” and prepared to be polite when receiving a no. Cold calling is a tough gig, but professionalism is not.

I just noticed my husband left a 1 star review and received a rather petty response from Mr. Cassady that included inaccurate information.
Here is what he said vs what really happened.
1. When you added the van to your insurance, we asked your wife what coverages she wanted. She informed us to replicate the coverages of one the vehicles that we had already insured. We did that. Please keep in mind that the original vehicles that were transferred into my office where written in another Agents office out of state. You had a towing situation but did not have that in the original vehicles

WARNING THIS INSURANE IS EXPENSISVE AND THE CUSTOMER SERIVE IS TERRIBLE. I honestly do not have the best driving record and my bill increased as it should which was not upsetting. When the accidents occured state farm itself was fine. However whenever I needed to deal with my agent directly it was a completely different story. Each time James was incredably rude and the moment I attempted to cancle my policy things just got worst. I didn't know the first thing about getting motorcycle insurance but I knew I needed it ASAP in order to buy a bike. I was immediately contacted by Nicole K. after being referred to State Farm. She did all the work for me, which was so awesome. Basically, I called her from the car when I left work and by the time I got home, I was already set. We have had nothing but a poor experience with this office. It started when my wife tried to change her last name and we kept receiving bills and notices with her maiden name, after several calls and emails about the change. Transferring my policy to California from out of state, and changing her car over from her parents was another hassle. It took them nearly six months to fix all of their initial mistakes, including leaving discounts off of our policies, and changing our renters insurance to our new address. We asked the office several times to add the low milage discount to both our vehicles

My wife and I went to James' office for life insurance policies in 2015 not really knowing what we both needed and also to see if he could give us a better rate on our homeowners insurance than our previous insurer. James was very knowledgeable about the policies we were interested in and took a lot of time to explain the different life and home policies to my wife and I in order to find the one that best suited us.
