Blood tests are an essential part of diagnosing what is ailing your pet, just as they are in human medicine. Blood tests can tell the veterinarian a myriad of things, from whether your pet is dehydrated to whether he or she has anemia to whether your cat or dog is suffering from cancer. Red blood cells are used to determine a number of factors.
When was the last time you had your pet's teeth cleaned? According to the AVMA, pets who have never had a teeth cleaning have signs of dental disease by the time they are three years old. For that reason, Justin Bartlett Animal Hospital recommends that all pets have a yearly dental cleaning and oral examination.
Euthanasia is something most people would rather not think about, unfortunately, pets become old and ill, and when they appear to be suffering, sometimes pet euthanasia is the most caring and compassionate thing a pet owner can do for their pet. It can be difficult for pet owners to determine when it's time to say goodbye to their beloved pets, especially if your pet has good days and bad days.
It only takes a moment for your pet to bolt out the door or break away from his leash, and many lost pets never find their way home because they have no form of identification when they get away. Tags on collars are great, but pets often break or lose their collars in their attempt at freedom. Microchipping is a way to ensure your pet can find his way home, with permanent identification always in place.
Fleas and ticks are more than just a nuisance. They can make your pet extremely uncomfortable and cause several different types of illnesses, like flea allergy dermatitis and tapeworm infestations. Justin Bartlett Animal Hospital can evaluate your pet to determine the best type of flea prevention medication.

My cat was seen on Wednesday November 23rd. When we got there they told us we had to wait due to an emergency after making a appointment. They took blood work on my cat and every-time we called results they didn’t have them and told us they would call us back and never did. Finally Saturday December 4th they called us telling us the lab lost her… blood work. And told us we haven’t called to follow up and that we were taking our anger out on them since my cat is dying. They refused to refund us our money for the visit. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Justin Bartlett! After I lost my fur baby about a month ago, they were my first stop when it was time to welcome a new baby into my home. I visited their website and… absolutely fell in love with Cherish, who has now been renamed Nori. JB takes very good care of their animals and makes sure everything is in order during the adoption process. Which is very smooth by the way. They take care of all the vaccinations, microchipping, and the spaying/neutering so your precious baby is all ready to take home. They are very compassionate and they take great

Started out nice, sweet people....then the customers started leaving in tears, animals put down, customers hysterical. Dogs in kennels barking miserably... waited inside over half hour while dogs howled, one screamed while euthanized, lights turned off on us.. no exam tables, place is filthy... chaotic... exam room cluttered, dirty...finally left before they had a chance to hurt my fur baby. Don't go.

I absolutely LOVE this place. If you care anything about animals bring your furry loved ones here. If you want to adopt please look here first. The entire staff from the doctors, technicians, volunteers and everyone in between is professional. They listen & communicate. They ask questions & answer questions. I have so much respect for everyone… involved at JBAH. All my furry children are healthy thanks to the help of JBAH. Prices are extremely reasonable Because of that I am able to donate and help all the animals they care for behind the scenes.

Our cat of 17 years had slowly been declining in health. Last night he was very sick. We needed to have him put to sleep today so he would not suffer anymore. I called a few Animal Hospitals and I could not get an appointment for a few days. To my surprise, Daver at Justin Bartlett Animal Hospital told me to come in right away and they would help… me with my cat. Everyone there was very compassionate and kind. They knew we were distressed so they let us go straight into an exam room with him. We were extremely impressed with the veterinarian whose name was Dr. Forteza. He made quite an impression

I am going through something serious with my pup Tilly and Dr. Forteza has really been amazing, even contacting me on his personal time to talk about what’s going on and offer some reassurance as to the future.… The office staff has been awesome as well as I’ve had to call a few times for various things, super patient with me all around. While she is not out of the woods yet, I am confident I have Tilly at the right place for the care she needs.

My brother Service Dog had bladder stone removal surgery done at this place. Not only did it almost cost his dogs life but He had to pay for an emergency surgery to remove the toxins that were building up in his abdominal area and brain (at a different animal hospital) due to the incision having a leak. On top of that, the doctor performing the… emergency surgery found 30+ stones when operating on his dog. When My brother called Justin Bartlett Animal hospital to inform them about this, was told He would get a full refund, even was sent a receipt to his email. A week later after checking
