Dr. Kelsey is a fourth generation Californian whose great grandparents settled among the strawberry fields of Huntington Beach. Dr. Kelsey resides locally with his wife and three children. A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic X-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.

My family has gone to this dentist three times over the years because my regular dentist was booked up. Each time I couldn't tell what treatment I really needed versus what they were trying to sell me. My wife went once they said she needed a bunch of dental work, so she went to her regular dentist for a second opinion and her dentist said she didn't need any of the treatment that they suggested. Be careful.

I used to think this was a good and honest dentist office but unfortunately I don't feel that way anymore. The dentists and hygentists here are unkind, condescending and seem to be only after making more money off non essential dental care. Their front office was always terrible and mucking up appointments but at least you could feel confident in their dental staff.

Incredible! I had a broken tooth that the dentists were able to save (a forty year old filling)! I appreciated their perseverance in saving my tooth, which wasn't easy! I had no pain, everyone was so considerate, it was the best dental experience I ever had. And it's a few hours after the procedure, the Novocain has worn off, and still no pain from a major procedure. And I love that they can create the crowns in the office! No more two week process of a temporary crown, then a permanent crown! And everyone, from Dr. Chamberlain, Dr Kelsey, all the technicians, and the front office staff

Alright. So this place definitely only specializes in dentistry. There ortho is only available for 1 DAY during the whole week. Meaning, booking an appt for what works best for you is horrible. School ends at 2:45. I Would prefer to not leave early for a orthodontics. I was not told they are only available for 1 day throughout the whole week. Or i would have not done the whole process, or would have went to another office. In the back they have many rooms empty, but it takes ages for them to bring people in. When I had the mouth separator in my mouth, the lady asked if I can open my mouth. Like

My family has been going to Ladera Ranch Dentistry for many years, I have never been completely happy mainly because my daughter had a bad procedure from the surgeon and we know about some other friends with bad experiences with the surgeon too. We decided to stay away of any surgery with them and stay only with the dentists. Last year, my dentist left and the new dentist told me I needed a lot of work plus deep cleaning. Have been a Pt here for many years. The hygienist do a great job. The dentist have changed many times over the years- but always nice. Why the one star........ received treatment last July received a phone call yesterday almost 6 months later stating they charged me wrong and I Haaretz a balance now???? Are you kidding me 6 months later!!! First of all you wrote the estimate you collected the money - now six months later you made an error and to top it you're rude when you call!!! Poor representation poor customer service poor choice!!!!

I had 4 fillings done a month ago and Dr.Chamberland did a great job. Now I finally had my wisdom teeth extracted last week and I’m so happy I found this place I was put to sleep to do it so it was so easy. They made me feel so comfortable, honestly the entire staff did a great job. I just told my brother he is next, he needs to go then too!

My Husband and 2 kids went to this office to see the Orthodontist Dr. Mogavero. We were patients for over 2 years, apparently the practice was sold and all kinds of changes were made (not for the better). They changed our Orthodontist and never gave any reason or explanation for why Dr. Mogavero was not completing our treatment. Fortunately we were able to locate him In San Clemente and finish treatment close to home.

On ortho days, it's like an assembly line. The assistant and the dentist go from patient to patient as quickly as possible. On several occasions my daughter has had pieces of metal left in her mouth when her braces are being adjusted. She often leaves in pain from the dentist and/or assistant rushing through work and hurting her without any consideration for her comfort. Yes, braces are uncomfortable for anyone, but the experience and bedside manor here always leaves a lot to be desired.

Best dentistry !! I typically hate going to the dentist there's nothing fun about having a numb mouth or having to wait for your appointment. But that wasn't the case here, the friendly staff attended me right away at my scheduled appointment! Rich was my hygienist an amiable, kind and funny man. He was so gentle cleaning my teeth. He did such an amazing job. Hands down my favorite dentistry. I plan to come back here again.

This place is the best. Went a couple months ago for the first time with my 2yr old to get our first check up. My little one was super comfortable from the start with the staff.
they actually have toys and such for the kids in the waiting room.
I've also been going back to get more treatment. I forgot her name but I've had the same dental hygienist and she's seriously awesome. She knows how much anxiety I get and she does everything she could to help me feel comfortable.

I was very pleased with the procedures I received there. I had a number of fillings done and some cleanings as well. This was my first Dentist since moving to California and I was happy to find one close to home that I trusted.
However that all changed shortly after my first procedures were completed. Before the procedures were started I was shown a detailed break down of what was needed and how much it would cost. Had a great experience at Ladera Ranch Dentistry. From x-rays, oral inspection w/ Dr. Rivera and cleaning the entire process was professional and best of all pain free. I have had me teeth scraped like finger nails on a chalkboard at other dental offices and I was pleasantly surprised since I hadn't been to a dentist in over two years.
I would strongly recommend them and was impressed with their technology and patient focused care.

Ladera Ranch Dentistry is a great dental office in Ladera Ranch. Very nice office in a good location that's comfortable and family friendly. All the dental and office staff are professional and nice and make the process very efficient, easy and comfortable. Great for adults and kids. Dr. Kimberly Rivera is great. They are just so welcoming and professional and they actually made it a pleasant experience. Now I can keep up with my routine cleanings and exams without dreading them. I'm so grateful I found them. I consider Ladera Ranch Dentistry as my family dentistry. They have been mine and my whole family's dental office for the past 5 years. They go above and beyond good service all the time. Reminders, text messages and emails regarding our appointments are very helpful. They always accommodate my family whenever we have emergencies. Everyone is very friendly upbeat and seem to have a smile on their faces, from the front desk, assistants, hygienists and the doctors. Quick but high quality service from check in to check out. Ladera Ranch Dentistry is a great place for your dental work. Myself along with my family, grandparents and girlfriend have been coming here for over 2 years now and always had a great experience. The office staff is all very friendly and welcoming that goes in hand with the spacious, clean and well decorated office.
Rich was my hygienist and he did a great job and was very thorough in his work. Last year I had a mouth guard made for night grinding and the guard is still holding strong!
Overall great office and highly recommended for all your dental needs!

The equipment is all state-of-the-art, that to me is one of the things that makes me feel comfortable. Every time I visit I'm impressed with how well the team works together when you go from each room in a smooth process. I just love the way everything flows when I'm there - and they always find a good time for my appointments. And of course the dentists and dental assistants are highly skilled, gentle and friendly. This is the friendliest dentist office I've ever been to - I have been coming for years now.
