We provide a unique massage therapy experience to clients in the Ke Kino Massage Clinic and a powerful education to students at Ke Kino Massage Academy who wish to become therapists who know how to make a genuine difference. Swedish Massage is the foundation of massage techniques and complements all other massage treatments. In this class, our students learn Ke Kino's unique full-body Swedish massage sequence. This sequence is powerful when performed on its own, but also gives our students a framework into which they may choose to integrate various other skills acquired in the course of their schooling and for the rest of their careers.
Massage therapy is not a skill that a person spends six months learning and then practices exactly the same way day-in, day-out for the remainder of their career.
Rather, it is a set of skills and experiences that evolves over time as a therapist learns and integrates into their craft new techniques and treatment philosophies that resonate with who they wish to be as a therapist, often informed by a specific population of clients they intend to help or by their own healing journey.

At Ke Kino, we make this process simple as we determine whether we're a good fit towards your journey of becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist in Texas. 1. Candidates first meet with a representative of the admissions department to complete a tour and interview. 2. Candidates who are a good fit and express an interest in applying for our program will be offered an admission application.

This is my first experience at Ke Kino. I was severely injured in a car accident in May of 2020. I was a little worried at first because I've had back surgery and chiropractic work done. Kristopher took very good care of me. He listened to my concerns, he was very careful, analytical and informational about the work he was performing. I like to know whats being done and why its being done. He helped get muscles working again that had gone dormant due to my accident. He walked me through what areas he was working on and how they are supposed to be working. He took his time and not once did I tense

If you had a c section, GO SEE JOHN AND MARTA. You don’t have to understand everything he’s doing, why it works, or how it helps - but trust me IT DOES. I went in because my son needed body work prior to a tongue and lip tie release, so John and Marta worked on both of us. I went in confident that my son needed the body work- but I was skeptical how much it could help me in just one session. I had been in pain for weeks. I saw Marta last Friday. I'm nearly 9 months pregnant, and in pain like you wouldn't believe. Walking was incredibly difficult, I couldn't kick or lift my legs, my spine felt like a piece of rebar and I was having a lot of emotional setbacks with this pregnancy.

I cannot say enough good things about everyone at Ke Kino and all that it has done for me! I was referred to John James and Ke Kino by my primary care physician for myofascial release after having 10-16 tension/migraines a month for about a year and a half. I’ve known for years that I carry my tension in my neck and shoulders, but it was catching up to me. Brilliant resource for all aspects of personal growth and healing. Especially useful with C Section recovery, both physically and emotionally. I am thankful to have such amazing people to guide me in healing scars - both that I know of, and some I did not. I've only been attending a short time, but the benefit has been remarkable. Just graduated from Ke Kino massage academy, and I'm convinced I wouldn't have been happier or more satisfied with my education anywhere else. When I found the place online, I decided to book a tour with the administrator, Amy, the following day. I remember feeling excited once I had left, after I had met the owners, John and Lauren, and took a look around. It's a small school, but a cozy atmosphere, which made it an excellent learning experience for me. The owners are continuously looking for ways to improve the curriculum and atmosphere of the school, that would benefit all of the licensed therapists

I have been going there for years! It was recommended to me because it's cheaper than anywhere else in town! My first massage was with Lee when he was a student & now he is an Instructor at the school! Since he's now certified he's more expensive...BUT SO WORTH IT!!

By far one of the best massage schools around. Staff are always there to help you with any questions. The new owners are incredibly talented and have opened my eyes to a world of massage that I never knew existed. There are inexpensive intern Swedish Massages available to the public that you can afford, even if you are on a budget. This school excels at producing quality massage therapists that are ready for their career after they complete their program. If you have the opportunity to check this place out than make sure that you do so!

I love this place and have highly recommended it to all my family and friends. Kathy is awesome!!! If you receive a massage from her, you will never want anyone else. Her hands are truly healing! I also love the staff that I have dealt with at the front desk and on the phone. I feel the calming, positive energy any time I walk through their doors! As you can tell I absolutely love this place!

Great massage school and fabulous instructors! I will miss this place. Looking for a small intimate environment where you can get one on one questions and answers and plenty of feedback on your career as a budding massage therapist, then this is the place for you. I really enjoyed the small classes and the opportunities to work with licensed massage therapists and instructors and learning new modalities and techniques in the body work field. Take a tour and make that call if you're looking for a school. My most favorite part was the flexibility of classes offered. I had two small children

You owe it to yourself to visit Kekino. I had huge knots in my shoulders from s stressful week at work and now my shoulders are happy and carefree! This is the place to come if you want a great pressure point massage. They do a pretty good Swedish massage too, and if you're on a budget, they offer $38 hour long intern massages (They're only $33 on Tuesdays and Thursdays).

I am so glad my neighbor told me about this massage academy. I was having a terrible problem for years with tightness in my mid should blade. On Thursday Ke Kino has a $30 special for 1 hour massage and believe me if you need a massage, it will be the best $30 you have ever spent. My massage by Angel was the best I have ever had. She zeroed in on my problem and 3 days later, for the first time, my left should did not hurt. I am going back this week. The place is very clean, smells nice (not too strong), very quiet and everyone is very professional and right on time.

I saw the great reviews and was also told by the receptionist that the one hour - full body massage would be worth it. However, The intern available was only able to cover certain areas that I mentioned and also ended before 60mins. Travis was more focussed on time than his technique. It was funny that at the end he mentioned if it was a 90 mins session then he can cover it all and do better - Yeah, Sure.
