Hi, my name is Stephen Beatty and I am the owner of Collision and Mechanical Specialist (CAMS). That is over 24 years ago! At a young age, I decided I wanted to own my own shop. Like a lot of kids back then I had a car that needed a lot of repairs. I did not have the money to fix it, so I started working at a friends uncle's shop as a helper after school.
I know how stressful of a time this can be, but don't worry I am here to help! I want to make the process of getting your vehicle back to its pre-collision state as easy, hassle free as possible. At CAMS Automotive, we know that you place safety first every time you get in the car. Unfortunately, accidents can happen at any time.
At CAMS Automotive, people frequently call us to ask about the services that we offer. While we like to say that we provide services from brakes to paint, this isn't entirely true; however, we are a full-service repair shop. Below, we are going to focus on the mechanical issues that we can handle; however, please remember that if you have questions about a specific repair, simply call us and ask!

My check engine light has been going on and off for years now. I finally brought it in to CAMS, where Jonathan did a digital diagnostic on my vehicle and told me that my catalytic converter was going out. He proceeded to talk with me about what that meant, a timeline, and a quote on the repair within 45 minutes.
Everyone I interacted with was incredibly professional and friendly. Highly recommend if you want to actually be able to have a conversation about what’s going on with your car.

Called a couple days prior to going in, and really likes what I was told over the phone. When I arrived, and the estimate was given to me. I jumped at it. Especially when I was told they could get it done in one day. Thanks Jonathan and staff for the speedy service I received for replacing the radiator in my Impala. Would definitely use again, if I had to.

We brought our used car in for a check to see whether it was a good value. It was very professional the way it was handled… We’ve taken the car back to the dealer and they are taking care of the issues.

Went in today because I couldn't get the original fuel filter off of my 1999 Ford Ranger truck so I had to get someone to do it. Googled local shops and Cam's Auto had positive reviews. So I decided to give them a try. I was told over the phone it would take about an hour. Ended up taking a hour and a half. Price of $97 was quoted over the phone (using OEM filter at my request). Ended up being $2 addition due to having a broken clip. Their labor rate is $115.50 per hour for all readers to know in advance. Staff is friendly and professional. They are a pretty busy shop.

Cam's was awesome. After being sent in multiple directions by my extended warranty about which mechanic I could use, I was finally sent to Cam's. The service was hands down the best I have ever experienced. Stephen Jr. and his group were quick to make me feel welcome and figure out what was going on with my car. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and made me feel like I was a longtime customer. They were super knowledgeable and the service was quick and painless. Great customer service and quick repair! Have gone a couple a times, to replace an alternator and new struts/suspension system, wheel alignment, new tires and both time got oil changes. Got my car back in a day. Well priced compared to going to a dealership and trustworthy. Stephen and Stephen Jr are on top of everything!
