Dan is the Best! My son was very nervous about his senior pictures. He doesn't like his smile. As soon as we met Dan, he sat down with my son and got to know him as a person, what he likes and his interests. With that, the day of the shoot, my son felt Very comfortable with Dan and his smiles were very genuine. Not just a "say cheese". They had a great time together and the pictures show it 150% !!!

From start to finish, Dan was wonderful!
It started with an appointment at the studio to double-check the four wardrobe choices that my daughter had. He gave excellent feedback and had suggestions about what materials would work and what wouldn’t. On the day of our scheduled photo shoot, it was cloudy, and my daughter had her hopes set on some great sunset pictures, and he changed the date to accommodate her wishes without question. He works with a local salon to do make up and hair and set that up for you. On the day of the shoot, he met my daughter at the salon and posted the whole experience

I live several states away from Frievalt Photography, but have attended conventions (state and national) where Dan Frievalt has presented, including demonstrating in-person photo shoots involving both innovative and traditional skills, equipment, location types, etc. The photographs he produces are stunning whether edgy or sweet or anything between.
