A board certified physician, Sima Kahn has always been a passionate advocate for her patients. With 25 years of Obstetrics and Gynecology practice, Sima's breadth of clinical experience has given her a deep understanding of the complexities of the medical system. She has seen firsthand the overwhelming confusion patients often feel when faced with significant health conditions.
As a healthcare advocate, I can help you understand and determine the best steps with your particular medical condition, and guide you through the complexities of the healthcare system. Our job is help clarify your situation, improve communication with providers, and create and implement a plan so you can get the best possible care for who you are, with your specific health needs.
Healthcare Advocacy Partners will be your voice, stand up for you in your time of need, if or when you are unable to speak for yourself. As a healthcare agent (also called a healthcare proxy or healthcare power of attorney), we will spend time getting to know you, listen to your wishes, and create an advance directive that feels good to you, so that we can convey your wishes when the time comes.
The path through menopause is different for every woman. Some of us will experience very few physical and emotional issues, while others may have severe symptoms that last for extended periods of time. Healthcare Advocacy Partners can provide answers to your questions, and offer counseling and guidance about your specific menopause treatment options.
