Moe Engineering has extensive experience designing, managing and coordinating local, state, and federally-funded grant projects. We have worked closely with Caltrans Local Assistance staff and Caltrans Structures Local Assistance and are very familiar with the Local Assistance Procedures Manual.
In addition, we continue to provide assistance to several agencies for updating their annual Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program and calculation of DBE goals for specific projects.We also have experience designing, and soliciting bids for Sonoma County Community Development Commission Block Grant (CDBG) funded projects.

Since 1995 Moe Engineering has been providing civil engineering design, municipal engineering staff augmentation, CIP program/project management, construction management and inspection services to local agencies. John Moe, Principal Engineer, is both a registered Civil Engineer and Land Surveyor in the state of California.
John is licensed in the State of California as both a Professional Civil Engineer (RCE C 48460) and a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS 8400). He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from the University of the Pacific, Stockton, California.
John has over 30 years of civil engineering experience which encompasses street improvement design, storm drainage design including hydrology and hydraulic analysis, surveying, project management, and commercial and residential site improvement design.In addition, he has over 25 years of experience as a consultant providing local agency assistance.

Moe Engineering, Inc. serves as the City Engineer (since 2011) providing on-call municipal engineering services such as Development Review, CIP Program Management, Engineering Design of roadway and drainage projects and Construction Management & Inspection for utility undergrounding. Moe Engineering represents the Public Works Department items at City Council meetings at the request of the City.
