New Jersey Court Rule 3:22-1 provides that any person convicted of a crime may file a petition for post-conviction relief within five years. Mr. Pastacaldi is also a part-time Public Defender in Jersey City municipal court in which he has successfully represented hundreds of clients who cannot afford counsel.

In Federal Court, it is defined as a Writ of Habeas Corpus and in New Jersey it is governed under New Jersey Court Rule 3:22. Horrible experience. Very bad way to treat his clients. A lot of unmet promises and false information. He is all talk and does nothing once he receives his money. I paid his retainer in full and he didn’t do anything to help my case. I had a few evidence to support my case and he used none of it, just to go on trial and ask for more money!
