Matt is a full-time member of our school team specializing in head shots and senior photography. He always found himself uncomfortable in front of the camera, and strives to create a casual environment to capture that best expression and moment for his clients. Matt believes editing and post-production are just as important as the shoot and really strives to give a final product that the client can cherish.
Matt received his BA in Visual Media Arts from Emerson College in Boston, MA. Andrew is a returning member of the iSmile team, rejoining as studio manager and master photographer. He loves to photograph all different styles and subjects, loves challenges and creative ideas for photoshoots. He has a BA in Graphic Design from Lasell College, where he grew his love for photography as well as design.

Join us in our Colonie Center studio for anything from family sessions to newborn photos. We want to capture memories that last a lifetime for you and your family. With our wide variety of backdrops and props, we will match up a scene to whatever outfits you'd like to wear. We offer the ELITE membership for families and the iGrow membership for newborns.
Our on-location sessions are a great way to take pictures in an environment more comfortable to your family and loved ones while getting spectacular photos taken by one of our master photographers. For a $100 session fee, a master photographer will travel anywhere within a 50 mile radius of Albany to help capture memories that will last a lifetime.
Can you believe a year has gone by so fast? We can't either! One of your great iGrow perks is an End of Year collage of your favorite images from baby's first year. Simply choose 13 images from your online iGrow gallery (1 each month from newborn through first birthday), use your image numbers on the form, and choose your favorite template.

Pictures are generally posted 5-7 days after they're taken. Using the sheet we gave your child, register ahead of time and receive an email as soon as the photos become available! If you think your child's photos should already be online, please contact us at schoolpics@ismilestudios.com! If I have more than one child, can I combine their photos and/or access codes into one pack?

Our first photo shoot with our little guy was very successful thanks to iSmile. The photographer was so accommodating, outgoing and made the process a breeze. He made him giggle, smile and worked the angles just right to capture those little moments! It’s not easy taming a mobile 11 month old, but the photographer rocked it! We will definitely be back in the future!

This is one of the best photography studios I have ever taken my kids to. When our first son was born we were gifted the igrow package which allows you to get photos done every month up til their first birthday when you can do a cake smash. You are then gifted a free photo collage of one photo from each month from newborn to a year. We loved it so much we bought one for our second son. The photographers are great. They all know how to handle babies and kids of any age. Our first born is not always the happiest to get photos taken but they are great with him. They always get him to smile and laugh

iSmile took great photos of my class! Also, they responded immediately when I emailed asking about LAST year's photos and even sent specific information a parent requested. I was impressed with the quality of the the experience as well as the customer service afterward.

Andrew the supposed manager who took such horrible pictures is VERY unprofessional and continued to blame me for the poor quality of work. He lied about me trying to reach out to get the situation handled. He was rude and kept cutting me off. Please do yourselves a favor & have your little brother take pictures with his iPhone because I can bet you they will come out 100% better & you will save yourself $270.

I had my maternity shoot done in July. I got copies of my pictures & spoke to someone who told me wrong information about the pricing & packages. I ended up paying $270 for digital downloads of 52 pictures when I only liked 20 of them. After seeing the pictures without the watermark, I saw my eyebrow was missing to which I was told it was MY fault for the makeup I was wearing. I wasn’t wearing makeup & my eyebrow wasn’t missing in other photos. The customer service is horrible, I’ve tried calling & emailing to get this rectified & still haven’t heard from anyone. I’m hurt I can’t print

This is nine years late, but came across this photo that needs to be finally framed and displayed. This picture was "stitched" together by iSmile Studios. Each individual family group was photographed separately and then all combined to look like we all posed as one large group. It's amazing how they do this and make it look so seamless. Try to get that many people to smile and pose for the camera at once- good luck! This photo was taken in 2010. Can't believe how much everyone has changed. All of those kids now tower over their moms and dads and our family matriarch

I found out about iSmile about 9 years ago when I was approached by an employee offering a free 8x10 (I had a baby in tow) while I was shopping in Colonie Center. I of course took up this offer and my daughter's first "professional" photos were taken. Things were different back then than they are now such as pricing and different pic sizes available in certain packages. From what I remember, the staff were nice and I have really good photos of my daughter as we went back several times.

These people are awful! The person taking my sons picture was one of the rudest people I have ever met. I asked her if my son looks cute and her response was--"we don't have time for this. We need to hurry up and start the session." I told the manager and the manager was even more rude than the employee. This is an awful establishment. No one should ever take their pictures here. Ever. Awful!!! Oh and the manager wouldn't give me the owners info so I could let him know. Dirty stuff. Rude people. Don't go here.
