Terrible, dirty place, I give it six months before it goes the way of MonteVista, technicians and nurses champ at the bit to punish you with medication, they dispense Thorazine like it’s Halloween candy, and did I mention it’s filthy? Technicians talk back to patients in an unprofessional manner that serves zero purpose but for the tech to feel they got one over on a crazy person. This place is a dump, thanks Reagan!

Jasmin Marie,
Clearly you know nothing about the mental health field. By your own admition, it's a high school level of understanding.
1. Psychosis is MANAGED, not cured.
2. You said "at least One Month"? For what? With your deep knowledge base, what should they have done for that month?
3. Do you know the costs associated with this field?
This is mental health, not physcal therapy!
You had a bad experience, okay.
But are you clear about how you know precious little about any facet of mental health treatment? What you write suggest you don't.

I received impeccable care and support during my stay in Desert Parkway's Hope For Heroes PTSD rehab program last month. I am a Marine who has experienced combat-related trauma and referred to the hospital through my base's mental health clinic. I highly recommend anyone experiencing PTSD related issues and looking for a program that is cultural competent and aware of how to navigate the complex military world to seek treatment here.

NAMI Southern Nevada has enjoyed collaborating with Desert Parkway over the years. They've offered our organization space to host events, support groups, and even committed their staff to volunteer with us! They are incredibly community-minded and enable us to remain focused on our mission - to raise awareness surrounding mental health and further reduce the stigma. Thank you Desert Parkway!

I was here for 10 days and in some ways being admitted here helped. most of the techs are so kind and helpful. the weekend techs, mr ron and mr knewl were horrible though. during the week when we were sent to our rooms to shower, we got our hygiene supplies, showered, and were allowed to spend time in the day room until we had to sleep but when mr ron was there it would take at least 20 minutes for our shower stuff to be passed out and we weren’t allowed to leave our rooms. he gave me and my roommate panic attacks multiple times by yelling at us for simply looking outside our doors to check the

I am the spouse of an active duty military member based at a Las Vegas base. I received outstanding care and personalized attention in their military specific program. I certainly feel as if they responded to my needs and wrapped around not just me, but my family as well to ensure returned to them safely and fully rehabilitated. Thank you Desert Parkway and all the staff in their hope for heroes program.

I stayed here many times and many of the staff are great. Only a few are rude and unprofessional. There are two nurses here I had a bad experience with. One was a Filipino old woman. I asked her which medicine is which and she said to just take them. The other nurse was an old White woman. She talks bad about other nurses(about how they shouldn't be overweight). One MHT, she was dark and had a Dora-like hair, she blamed me for another patient's(Monique) seizure. I was in the Day room most of the day and wasn't aware my roommate has seizures to begin with. It's their job to ensure the safety of

I am grateful to the staff at Desert Parkway for their compassionate service and commitment to mental health. A family member living in Las Vegas experienced an incapacitating mental health event. We went through much frustration connecting him to the help he needs until we were able to finally in contact Desert Parkway. The staff approached the care need with compassion and facilitated difficult crisis intake with professionalism and compassion. The level of communication exceptional. My family member is where he needs to be right now and we remain hopeful for full recovery. The story is not fully
