Orcutt Law Offices is committed to helping Georgia individuals and families plan for their future. We understand that each family is unique and that estate planning is more than a set of instructions that tells the government who your property should go to after your death.
Our estate planning process is designed to understand your unique situation and goals and create a plan to pass your wealth, wisdom and values to your loved ones in the most efficient way possible.
Our estate planning process is designed to understand your unique situation and goals and create a plan to pass your wealth, wisdom and values to your loved ones in the most efficient way possible.
After a loved one dies, it is usually necessary to begin the probate process. Probate is the legal process in court of authenticating a will (if there is one), appointing an executor or administrator to oversee the estate, paying or settling debts, carrying out the wishes of the deceased, and transferring assets.
Orcutt Law Offices is an Elder Law practice focusing on the needs of Georgia seniors and their families. As a law firm, we understand that many seniors and their families need counseling to best understand their options to plan for and pay for long-term nursing home care. This is because long term care expenses are typically not covered through traditional health insurance.
Whether you are starting your first business or have prior business experience, we are here to help ensure you have a solid legal foundation. We provide counseling for your business from the type of legal entity best for your business needs and goals, appropriate state selection, proper financial structure, tax minimization, through legal protections from liabilities and succession planning.

Hands down the best attorney experience I've ever had. I had a few friends who had recently lost their husbands and there was nothing in place and what a nightmare it was for them. My husband has a terminal diagnosis and they were telling me how important it is that I get estate planning done. Erika walked us through so much we didn't even know about. She treated us with such care and love and my husband has mentioned several times to me how much better he feels about our future after he is gone. I highly recommend Erika to anyone, especially if you know your future is going to be different that

I recently worked with Erika for estate planning. I had no idea what estate planning was but I can tell you I feel much better now that I know our wishes are documented appropriately. Erika really made it easy for us to understand, she was more than helpful. I unfortunately will be leaving my family sooner than I had hoped for and I encourage everyone and especially anyone who is facing a terminal disease to seek estate planning through Erika. There is so much more involved than just a will. I will rest easy knowing my wife and children won't have unnecessary red tape after my death. Thank you

*I have changed the review up to 4 stars. This was due to the communications recently mailed out from the law office involving the case.*
We were not happy with the lack of communications regarding our potential lawsuit.
We discovered they had received information earlier but only shared after we responded back to a previous email.
We also were not given an estimate of the cost beforehand for the consultation/investigation....but then again we didn't ask.
We did receive information on the cost if the suit were to proceed to court.
We did receive a receipt for the amount paid but the receipt

My wife and I retained Erika Orcutt for a will and trust. She charged us $5900! Said that it would take 12 weeks. Six months later no will and trust, ju We fired her and had to sue her for our money back; Unfortunately the contract that she gave us to sign did not contain a time frame for completion. The judge ruled against us and said that we should have sued Erika Orcutt for "MALPRACTICE" rather than "Breach of Contract".

Literally the worst lawyers I have ever experienced. They charged for every little thing even if they were the ones who called or emailed you. We spent 20,000 dollars with them and got nothing but paperwork and a bunch of excuses. Then they told us they had reached a dead end and got very unprofessional when we wanted to know why we weren't getting any results. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!!
