Initially AP Solutions, Inc. was started to provide technical expertise to facilitate technology transfer and product improvement for clients through the use of advanced computational codes developed by NASA.

The requirements were to understand, modify or control the system performance. Other cases involved systems in the conceptual, exploratory, or advanced development stage. For these systems the tasks were modeling and analyzing the systems to provide guidance for the next step in the development process.
AP Solutions, Inc. uses a structured approach to ensure that the software developed meets the specific criteria set forth by the customer and performs as expected. AP Solutions, Inc. has the responsibility of maintaining APNASA (Average Passage Multi-stage Turbomachinery Code) and developing and maintaining an up-to-date library of models for use by the customer.
