Services
The caring and experienced professionals at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home are here to support you through this difficult time. We offer a range of personalized services to suit your family's wishes and requirements. You can count on us to help you plan a personal, lasting tribute to your loved one. And we'll carefully guide you through the many decisions that must be made during this challenging time.
Just as each person and family is unique, so is each funeral or memorial service. We believe that a visitation and funeral or memorial service should be about the person whose life has ended, and meaningful to those who remain. Families and friends have the opportunity to come together to share a sense of loss, to offer support, and to remember and acknowledge the life of someone they loved.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible Veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. Flat markers in granite, marble, and bronze and upright headstones in granite and marble are available.

The only thing harder than losing a family member during a pandemic is losing TWO family members, on the same day 1,200 mi apart...but that was just the harsh reality that I was faced with.

Thankfully the wonderful folks here at Cox-Rowley, along with family on the ground in TX, made the process of this living nightmare less horrific. Due to the death at home that I was still trying to process, arrangements I was tasked with making, as well as COVID restrictions etc that were in place I was unable to travel to be present for any in person services in TX. Rather, I was still able to be 'present
