Roy Heim graduated in 1985 from Blue Mountain School District. Roy had a few construction jobs during High school and then upon his graduation went to work for Heavy Highway Contractor, Geo. R. Lynn. After working for Lynn approximately 2 years Roy was offered a position in Homer, Alaska to work on a 3 mile tunnel, dam and hydroelectric plant project, which he accepted.
Roy moved to Alaska in 1988. In 1990 Roy moved back home to Schuylkill County. Even though Roy only worked there for a few years the experience and knowledge was worth 10 years of wonderful construction experience. In 1990 Roy opened Roy A Heim Construction. Completing sidewalk concrete and remodeling projects.
