I have over 14 years of experience in tax and accounting. I grew up in Ventura, California and started teaching myself about income taxes at the age of 16 when my first W-2 showed up in the mail and learned bookkeeping quickly thereafter. I immediately used those skills in my father's construction company before continuing on to college to study accountancy.
I moved to New Mexico in 2010 with my husband and 1 year old son, and graduated from New Mexico State University in 2012. I started working as an intern in public accounting at the beginning of 2012 and I obtained my CPA license in 2015 and stayed with that firm until 2017. Growing up in a family owned business, I spent much of my time working with my dad in construction and have always been drawn to working with entrepreneurs.

Services
Travel will be billed separately and must be booked and paid 2 weeks prior to session for out-of-state clients. Delivered via zoom call, these trainings are tailored to fit the specific needs of your company. If you're burnt out in public accounting and ready to start your own venture - it is possible.
I want to provide business owners with all the facts they need to make educated financial decisions when it comes to their business. I know that understanding your financials is the best way to set entrepreneurs up for success. After all you went into business to make money, right? Time and time again, I get business owners coming to me because they are tired of their CPA using fancy technical words that non-CPAs just don't know.

I've been lucky enough to have Ari as my CPA for the past 2 years. During this time her expertise has been extremely useful when sorting out the tax implications of a divorce, move across country, three different jobs, buying a home, properly hiring a nanny (which involves starting a home business to have the nanny as a W-2 employee, IRS requirement), and more. She is prompt, knowledgeable, and thorough. If you're looking for a professional to help you with your personal or business tax requirements, Ari is a fantastic choice.
