Born and raised in Minnesota, Dr Thom received his Bachelor of Science at Concordia College in Moorehead. Originally planning on a career as a medical doctor, he instead enrolled at the University of Minnesota DDS program where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS).
With his passion for the nutritional- medical model in medicine, Dr Thom persued a Naturopathic Medical Degree (NMD), from Clayton College of Natural Health in Birmingham, Alabama, graduating with highest honors.He went on to become board certified with the A4M (American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine) and earned the fellowship status (ABAAHP).

Our whole family has been going here for years and feel very fortunate to have such a great and dependable team as our family dentist. They are always helpful with insurance questions, scheduling, accommodating our requests and questions etc. The rest of the family has normal visits and cleanings but I have had lots of fillings done here. Post partum did a number on my teeth and they’ve been there every step of the way. I am very nervous about needles and they are the most patient and helpful team I’ve ever dealt with. Dr Warren and Dr Lokensgard both have phenomenal bedside manner and help

Got us in for an emergency evaluation bc my daughter got hit in the mouth and her tooth was knocked out of place. Very accommodating to get us in and the staff was wonderful! Dr. Lokensgard has great bedside manner and was thorough in explaining what happens to an injured tooth and the why of m the treatment recommended. The hygienist was gentle and kind. Highly recommend!
