Dr. Thomas Bennett has been in practice for over 37 years. Since 1982, he has provided chiropractic care for infants to those who are aging, as well as all types of athletes. We're located directly in between Chicago and Milwaukee and serve patients from the entire north side of Lake County, including Libertyville, Mundelein & Vernon Hills.

Dr. Bennett attended College of Lake County and Augustana College in Rock Island, IL before moving on to his father's alma mater, Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Bennett's father had introduced him to Activator Methods instrument adjusting when Dr. Bennett was a teen. The results were amazing!
Dr. Bennett was in his teens when he experienced a chiropractic adjustment using the Activator instrument. He immediately felt a difference compared to manual chiropractic techniques and knew that he would become specialized in Activator Methods. The Activator is a highly fine-tuned, FDA-approved instrument.
Then we'll briefly consult with you to determine why you're here and what your needs are. You'll watch a three-minute video to explain our methods of care. Next, Dr. Bennett will see you to do some examinations that determine if we can help you. If X-rays are needed we'll send you to a walk-in X-ray clinic just down the street.

I have degenerative disc disease and had seen multiple chiropractors over a 20 year period prior to seeing Dr Bennett. Unfortunately none of them were ever able to help me. All of them used spinal manipulation (back and neck cracking) and I never saw improvement despite multiple visits per week. I had heard about Dr Bennett and was told he uses a different method (Activator Methods Technique) which supposedly produced much better results and so I figured it was worth a try considering how much pain I was in.
