Dr. Jackie Beard was born and raised in the greater Cleveland area and graduated from Case Western Reserve University. After dental school, she completed her pediatric specialist training at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, where she focused on the unique aspects of children's oral health including: child psychology, dental growth and development, sedation, hospital dentistry, interceptive orthodontics, and behavior management.
In the same way that pediatricians are trained to meet a child's medical needs, our pediatric dental specialists are uniquely qualified to protect your child's oral health, using the most advanced techniques.and all in our delightfully friendly open treatment area. Pediatric dentists have an additional two to three years of training at university pediatric facilities in addition to four year of dental school and four years of college study.

Dr. Beards office is wonderful. Everyone there is amazing. They go above and beyond every time. It is a 25 minute drive from our house to Dr. Beards office and worth every minute. She is the best doctor we have found since moving here three years ago. The kids are completely comfortable with her and her staff. Have sent friends to Dr. Beard who loved her as well. Highly suggest this office for anyone looking for a pediatric dentist. Best in Cleveland Area!

We have been taking our child to Dr. Beard for 3 years. When we first starting seeing her, our son was extremely uncomfortable, and refused the toothpaste. Dr. Beard was very patient with him & very gentle. She showed him the instruments she was going to use and even let him be her helper by holding the mirror for her.
Now, our son is 6, he sits in the chair by himself, & goes through the whole process (with toothpaste) neither squirming nor complaining. He even got his first x-Ray!

I was looking for a pediatric dentist for my daughter. I looked at the reviews for this office and they seemed excellent. I called and first asked if my insurance was accepted and I received a yes it is so I made the appointment. We had our visit and 5 months later I receive a $200 bill. When I called the receptionist the reasoning was yes we except your insurance but we are out of network but this was never communicated during registration.. when I asked why it wasn’t communicated before she was seen, she flat out told me the system for verification must have been down that day and they weren’t

Dr. Beard is the best pediatric dentist I have met, and I have met a few. As a parent I always find comfort in those who are committed in the well being of my children’s health. Dr. Beard checks all the boxes when it comes to being informative, professional, caring, and dedicated. My children are new patients and she has earned my trust. I know my children are in the best hands with Dr. Beard.

A friend of mine referred me, I was looking to get a second opinion on my daughter treatment plan. I was provided with a same day appointment and several different treatment options, compared to the one I was provided from the first dentist. We officially have a new dentist!! The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding! I can’t thank them enough for everything!!

Great place! My daughter was very comfortable there. The rooms were clean and the waiting room had plenty of toys and movies playing to keep her busy! Dr. Beard of took really good care of us and was great, not only with my daughter but with my 11 month old son. Having two kids is a lot, but they got us in and out of there in a timely fashion. I will be recommending family and friends!
