Went to get my car fixed here. The part was replaced and it still didn’t fix the issue. I was told to take it to the dealership to get it programmed and it turns out he didn’t replace the right part. So, I got the right part at the dealership and everything. It turns out that isn’t the issue at all.

We have always been treated fairly here which is something you don't find at a lot of auto repair shops whether mom and pop or even the dealerships where you buy the cars. I have seen numerous new auto dealerships in the area try to up sell all sorts of unneeded services which should be a crime but seems to be standard practice these days. SO like a good doctor if you find a good mechanic / auto repair shop you stick with them. The waiting area is very basic but on the bright side you aren't paying for all those extra things you don't really need and we have never had any issues

I’m so happy I found Lakeside Tire & Auto. Not only do they do great work, but they’re fair and honest with their pricing. They were able to see me right away for a flat tire and even an oil change.

Fast, friendly, knowledgeable and reasonably priced! Since moving to the area a few years ago I have been relying on them for the work I can't do myself (and a little that I was too lazy to do at the time) and I have been completely happy. All work has been completed faster than stated at a fair price. They call to discuss work to be done and get approval on price. I am very happy with them!
The only room for improvement I see with them is the call when the car is done. I think it has been every time that I've brought my cars in, I called them 1/2 hour or so after they said it would

So my car needed two tires, brakes, oil change, and new muffler. I called Tom on a Friday, he ordered the tires, brought my car in Saturday morning. He got a guy to drive me and my son back home. They stayed late to get everything done and picked me up. W what more can I say, best service I've had in the auto industry! He was also around 200 dollars cheaper than all the other local places. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Hands down, one of the best businesses in the area and the very best for car repair. Every time I bring my car in for a nail, brake service, you name it.- Tom and his staff are knowledgeable, courteous and fast. He has never turned me away, even when it's time to close, when I have a nail in my tire. Shows they really care for their clients. They will inspect your car and are honest about what needs to be replaced or not. Highly recommended.

Stopped in after a light in the dashboard of my mother-in-law came on. They started working on it right away. Nice guys, very friendly. They said they weren't sure what was wrong with it, but it had something to do with the transmission. They gave us a recommendation for a place just down the street and it turned out to be just a blown fuse. There was no charge for the checkup and my mother-in-law says that she's been going to these guys since she moved to Hopatcong. Again, very friendly guys, speedy service. A++
