Services
Our Medical Director, Dr. Patricio G. Rossi is a second generation radiologist and Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology who completed his Radiology Residency Program at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Rossi currently holds academic appointments at Florida International University/College of Medicine and Nova Southeastern University.
In contrast with other types of imaging, MRI technology does not use radiation and can produce detailed images of the body's "soft tissues", such as the brain, spinal canal, heart, muscles, joints, and ligaments. Today MRI is a primary tool for diagnosing conditions in a number of medical categories, including neurology, spine, body imaging, and orthopedics.
To streamline the registration process and minimize your personal expenses, it is important to take the following steps before your appointment. HCI is an approved provider for most major insurance carriers and health plans. We will submit your claim, and any secondary claims, to any insurance company under the benefit coverage you specify, including workers' compensation, auto insurance, and personal injury.

I had my first mammogram performed at HCI Kendall. I was so nervous because everyone told me it’s very uncomfortable but, the tech was so good! She told me I wouldn’t feel a thing and was very gentle. It was a breeze! The girls at the front desk were very welcoming and everyone was very professional. I had a very positive experience and would highly recommend them!

These reviews helped me select this facility and I'd like to pay it forward. I was hesitant since I was used to having my thyroid ultrasounds done at Baptist Hospital. However, my experience at this facility was very pleasant. The young lady at the front is very very sweet. The wait was not too bad; anywhere you go you will have to wait. The technician was also gentle and very caring. Will consider this for other imaging needs. Thank you HCI!

Omgosh! This place was fabulous! From making the appointment, service and then forwarding my results, they were excellent! I had 3 MRIs, a bone density and a lung X-ray all done there. I loved the relaxed atmosphere and the staffs’ ability to soothe my anxiety. From now on this is my new place for all things radiography related. ❤️

It's so much better to go here than to get a mammogram at my clinic. Why? Because that's what they do all day so they are quick, painless & get the images needed on the first try.
Things I like:
1. Great techs (I've had mammograms, breast ultrasounds, & pelvic ultrasounds)
2. Easy to get an appointment
3. Ample parking
4. Professional & courteous front desk
5. Pretty punctual with appointment times
The only thing I wish were different is the paper robe they give you for breast imaging. They rip so easily. I had that happen the 1st time I went here while I was walking

I was referred by my insurance and everything went smoothly. My appointment was quickly scheduled for the next day. Amy from the office staff called me to advise me of what my payment would be for these ultrasounds. The ultrasound technician was thorough and professional. The place inside is deceiving. My MRI appointment was great left with my CD. On my doctor’s visit I learned that the CD was empty. I called the healthcare imaging and girl on the phone told me that she was sorry, to pass by the office and get a new CD and not to worry about extra CD fees. Came today to office to pick up new CD, when I explained what my doctor said that the CD was empty and I called the office to the girl in the front, I was treated with an attitude, sarcastic laughs specifically after getting my driver’s license and looking at my computer file.

The quality of Test was good overall, but the office did not had any complimentary drink and the way time was over 3 hours from the apt time. Our appointment was at 11:00am and and we got out at 2:00pm. Time is very important and that is the all idea of having apt to be there on time and get out on a proper time.

I visited HCI as a referral from my Nurse Practitioner. In a time where we are all on edge, where things are uncertain, I'm always looking for humanity in others. That's said, HCI called me before I even had a chance to make the appointment, which I was thankfully surprised and impressed. They made the appointment right away and convenient to my schedule. Also, office manager is simply a kind human being, professional and most importantly effective and thorough. She had me wait after my MRI was complete and handed me a copy on a CD to hand to my specialist.

This comolex is located near the Baptist Hospital. All the employees are very helpful and kind. You can get done Xrays, MRIs and other scanning procedures. You need to call before to make an appointment and try to be 30 mins before your appointment because you will need to complete some paper work. Also you need your ID and insurance card to get the precedure done.

I typically do not write any reviews however, I could not allow this Radiology Center to go unnoticed. "This was the best team of medical staff I have ever been treated by." From my initial call to facility to inquire about my need for imaging exams to having results prepared for my Physicians the entire process was seamless. I was so concerned that I would be waiting at least 7 business days to obtain an authorization from my insurance company in order to complete all exams. I came for a chest x ray, got here 10 minutes late and still left in 20! Super productive. The staff is great, and they helped me find the cheapest option for my procedure.
Honorable mention has to go to my x ray technician, I didn't catch his name, but he was an older Cuban man & he made so comfortable! It was like I was getting the procedure done with a life long family friend. Sweetest guy!

I visited this facility last year and the receptionist is friendly and patient. She is the only reason I am giving two stars. The female tech is absolutely unprofessional, impatient and horrible. I agree with Angie's tip. I went there twice and both times it was a negative experience. I have had ultrasounds before and she is by far the worst and hopefully has been replaced. She was way too rough and when I protested she did not care. Also, she enjoys making her patients wait while she texts. Seriously? I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great customer service from beginning to end. The front desk personnel is very efficient and courteous. My appointment was on time. The technologist was very courteous and seemed dedicated to his job. I had a stat study to get done and was able to leave the office with my exam and final report! My doctor had told me that they are the best imaging center in town and he was right.
