Horrible customer service, no empathy during a very difficult time. I left several messages with their answering service with no return call. Receptionist was passive aggressive when I explained I've left several messages & asked an approximate time when a funeral director will return my call. I was stunned. We have used Bryan Braker in the past & it's unbelievable how things have changed. Customer service begins with the person who answers the phone then a follow up. BB has failed in this.

The director (Joann) we were assigned to dropped the ball on so many levels, we decided

Nicole M. was invaluable. She hit the ground running and provided my family with compassionate guidance and direction during our loss. She laid out the plan of what we needed to accomplish and gently reminded me, what was needed, when I got lost in the details.

This was my first time being intimately involved in the planning of a funeral service. So, being overwhelmed was an under-statement. BUT Nicole! I felt supported throughout the process. It was effortless to get in contact with Nicole. Her communication and organization skills are above par. She parsed information to me at a rate that I

We just came from a viewing from this place couple weeks ago and let me tell you...horrible! Lady in the glasses for two days made me feel and I'm sure the rest of the family very uncomfortable, rushed and very rude! She picked up and cleaned in front of people crying, she would scold this kids, she would sit infront of the family on her phone just watching and waiting till it was over! She told me "get up and start moving out, sorry" in the rudest tone! I don't know where the good reviews are from but this was the rudest funeral home I've ever been in. I didn't even

Nicole at Bryan and Braker was amazing!!! She put my dad at complete ease when my mom passed a year ago. She was so sweet and caring and we never ever felt rushed. My Dad informed us that he does not want to go to any other place other than Bryan and Braker when it is his time and this is because they made him feel like he was their only customer at the time.
I ran into Nicole recently and she asked how my Dad was doing. She asked for his phone number and called to say hi and to check on him. He was elated!!! A year later! They are awesome!

I would like to take a minute to thank these wonderful folks at Bryan Braker, especially Greg Boyko, Camille and Ron! You and your amazing staff made such a stressful and difficult time for my family so much easier! We were so shocked at the unexpected and quick passing of our father and could barely wrap our heads around his passing, where even putting one foot in front of the other required concentration, let alone planning Dad's service which just seemed so daunting and overwhelming...but Greg, there you were with tissue, water and a big hug as you quietly said, "It's all going

I would never use this company again. When my mother passed we used this conpany for the cremation process and it took them 6 weeks to conplete it. I was in constant contact with them and they never had any accurate information for me. To top it all off, when the process was done they never called or emailed me so that I could pick up her ashes. Instead they held them there and when I reached out for the last time their response was "Oh they have been available here for two weeks. Im happy to say her ashes are still here in our care. You can pick them up during our business hours." The

We were promised a free viewing of a loved one, however they cremated without the viewing. in our meeting the owner pulled out paperwork stating they didn't have to have a viewing because it was a verbal agreement. The owner got upset yelled at a couple of us because he got worked up, offered us a viewing with a cremated vase???? Like really. He also offered us a refund and he along with his employee didn't keep they're word, make sure u you get everything in paperwork because they're word carries no weight from top to bottom.

This is overdue but an important Yelp to help others with honest feedback. Might be a tough time if you're reading this so for that, I wish you strength.

I called in late January and starting pre-planning with funeral director Greg Boyko. My Pop's condition was terminal and the last thing I thought any of us needed was to feel rushed and extra overwhelm when the inevitable happens.
I'm not a huge planner but when it comes to important things I get in GSD mode with vigor.

I chose Bryan Braker for logistical convenience...Dad earned the honor of being buried at the National Cemetery

A death in my family especially someone I love so much had passed away last week. It's never easy. Bryan-Braker funeral home helped us through these hard times. Nicole was amazing and she answered all my questions and did everything in her power to make this day memorable for my family the way my mom wanted to be remembered. To the team who made her look good in her traditional Laos clothes to her make up. Everyone who helped did an excellent job. Thanks for helping us fit in this weekend. It means so much to me. Thank you all.

Bryan-Braker Funeral Home has treated my family with kindness and compassion. Our family members passing has been a complicated one. Janna has been available any time I have called and if not she has gotten right back to me and answered all of my questions no matter how crazy they may have seemed. I'm so thankful that this funeral home was recommended to my family. If you want to feel like your loved ones life mattered call Bryan-Braker!

My father recently passed away and almost everything my family experienced with Bryan-Braker was a travesty. Their prices seem rather high and some charges made no sense (like higher rates on certain days versus others) as if families don't have enough grief & stress. Then to top it off they completely messed up the urns & keepsakes my family ordered and actually broke one of the items and then wouldn't work to fix it. It's sad that they almost have a monopoly in Fairfield & act like it.

After years of reflection regarding the service we received from Bryan-Braker, I feel that it is important to reiterate my disappointment and dissatisfaction with this funeral home. Four years later myself and my family are still deeply troubled by the service that we received when having my uncle interned. To this day I would say it is safe to say that we would absolutely have gone with ANYONE else. Greg's rudeness & unprofessional behavior during a time that was so emotionally stressful for my entire family still overshadows every visit we even make to visit my uncles ashes. The

Dennis Newgard is an amazing funeral director at Bryan Braker Funeral Home. My father passed 2 weeks ago, my Mom, husband and I had a meeting with Mr. Newgard and almost instantly my heart was at rest. He took care of everything. He is extremely knowledgeable and quite particular with wanting everything down perfectly. He was thoughtful and sympathetic. He not only helped with this funeral but my Dad wanted to be buried in Iowa so he helped with all the details in Iowa as well. He worked closely with the transporting of my dad via airplane to Iowa and talked frequently with the funeral director

My heart goes out to those that didn't have a great experience when a loved one passed. After a passing, the human emotions takes over and all common sense just isn't as common anymore. The sense of direction is thrown into the abyss and you find yourself at your most vulnerable.

We chose Bryan-Braker Funeral Home when my father passed away earlier this month and (sadly) after going to numerous funerals here, I felt comfortable coming here. The Chaplin at Travis Air Force Base also said that BB has done a lot of Military personnel as well so that was the cherry on the top.

Its been almost 2 yrs now since my step dad passed away and it still haunts my mom on what went on with bryan braker . Actually it was with only 1 staff member we had issues with. Ok other staff was nice and helpful John, Camille, and another lady but there was one male staff member that was not professional at all. We get to the funeral home and my stepdads kids were there first. So my husband walks in and overheard the staff member saying to my stepdads sons" yeah I hate my stepmom also" so that staff member accommodated to them put their pictures and flowers in the front while our

After visiting several funeral homes in the NorCal region our family decided to have Bryan-Breaker take care of final arrangements for my fathers funeral. There are many unrealized costs involved with laying someone to rest. Bryan-Breaker was honest about costs (did not nickel and dime us for ever little thing). They were the first out of 3 funeral homes to tell us they were sorry for our loss (which you would think would be customary in this line of work, but it's not). They checked on my mother and escorted her to and from our car for the funeral, took care of printing memorial information
