Services
The firm's Real Estate and Real Estate Finance department has earned a reputation of providing quality services at reasonable prices in varied aspects of real estate law. We represent clients in the acquisition, sale, leasing, development and financing of residential, office, industrial retail projects and community associations.
Your lawyer does matter. Your law firm also matters. Our litigation department is recognized, respected and has the experience you can and should trust. Injured parties and their families should only choose a law firm with exceptional expertise, an established record of proven successes, and significant financial and other resources.
We are caring about the family as the important unit in our society and realize the human cost, as well as financial cost, of a separation or divorce. We work closely with other departments here in our medium sized firm, since so many family law cases cut across departments; such as, real estate, personal injury, estate planning, taxes and business.
The attorneys in the Wills, Trusts, Estates and Taxes practice group at Astor Weiss Kaplan & Mandel, LLP have over 100 years of combined experience tailoring estate plans to the unique circumstances of each client and his or her beneficiaries while minimizing estate and inheritance taxes.

Creating an estate plan that is specific to your situation starts with thorough analysis of your assets and discussion of your estate planning goals (e.g., establishing guardianship for your children, providing for future generations, protecting your loved ones, pet care, and/or supporting personal philanthropic causes). The next step is to strategize how to meet your estate planning goals in a tax efficient manner.
Attorney Gutin, thank you for everything you did to manage my divorce case and keep it civil and cost effective. Dear Julie, Thank you for everything you've done to keep me sane and on the road to recovery in the past year. Jerry, Your extensive knowledge of the law and meticulous attention to detail is matched by your compassion, kindness and patience.

Deplorable treatment of a dear friend. The neglect of my friend$'s case and lack of strategy has made her vulnerable to drastic risk, even losing her home. I so worry for her future.
