My name is Ernest Soto and I am the proud owner of the State Farm Agency located at 129 Woodstock Ave. in Rutland, VT. Our office serves all of Vermont and I like to think of us as the premier insurance agency in Rutland. A State Farm Agency is not a business you can simply buy. Rather, it is a business that has to be earned and requires a passion for helping others.
I originally joined State Farm in 1992 and worked in the claims department through 1998. I have been married to my wonderful wife Michele for 34 years and we have one child. Just bought property in Ira. I use SF in Maryland so that was my first choice. I called and spoke to Daniel. I won't bore everyone with details but turns out because my cabin isnt totally finished a simple quote got complicated. Daniel was totally thorough & professional. It was taking a while (mostly driven by my questions and arguing - caused by inability to just shut up and listen!). Daniel was unflustered and conscious of the time we took. I was impressed by his diligence and customer focus. In the end I got what I needed at a great rate and a chance to partner with great State Farm office

My husband and I are new to State Farm and are very glad that we decided to switch insurance companies! Ernest Soto and team are quick to get back to me and extremely helpful. Hopefully we won't have to work with the office a lot but I feel confident if the time comes that we do need their help with a house of vehicle problem, they will be there for us!
