We are excited to announce that we have a new dentist in our Palm Desert office - Dr. Charles Taylor. Dr. Taylor has over four decades of experience in all phases of dentistry with a special interest in cosmetic makeovers. After graduating from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry in 1974, Dr. Taylor owned Total Care Dental Center in Michigan where he practiced for 37 years.
A crown is a type of dental restoration which completely caps or encircles a tooth or dental implant. Crowns are often needed when a large cavity threatens the ongoing health of a tooth. They are typically bonded to the tooth using a dental cement. When we have decided to go ahead with a full crown restoration, we will set aside 2-3 appointments for the entire process.
What is a wisdom teeth extraction? When wisdom teeth are prevented from erupting into the mouth properly, they are referred to as impacted. Impacted teeth can result in infection, decay of adjacent teeth, gum disease or formation of a cyst or tumor from the follicle, which forms the crown of the tooth.
What is a Denture? Dentures are prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth, and which are supported by surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity. Conventional dentures are removable, however there are many different denture designs, some which rely on bonding or clasping onto teeth or dental implants.
What is a White Filling? White filling is a dental restorative material used to restore the function, integrity and morphology of missing tooth structure. The structural loss typically results from caries or external trauma. It is also lost intentionally during tooth preparation to improve the aesthetics or the physical integrity of the intended restorative material.

I have never had such a bad experience with a dentist in my life. The technician tortured me with X-rays until I had dry heaves and couldn't continue with them after 12. The dentist said my teeth were fine and schedule a cleaning. The manager said I owed nothing more and gave me a cleaning appointment for 3 months later. Then they billed me for most of the Xrays claiming they didn't do enough Xrays for the insurance to cover it. Do not patronize this office.

My experience with this office was one of a hustle. I chose this office because unfortunately it was the only location accepting my Dental insurance. I was entitled to a free cleaning with my insurance, so I made an appointment for a cleaning. I arrived to immediate X Rays, unlike any Dental practice I’ve been to in the past. I have good teeth, my brother is a Dentist in a different state, I know how this works. Dr did his check and I was immediately brought to an Administrator. Go figure, all of a sudden my perfect mouth needs a “deep tissue cleaning” not covered by insurance. I knew immediately

My dentist retired about 2 yrs ago and I've been really nervous about finding a new place. A place with kind people and a dentist that wouldn't hurt me or try to sell me on a bunch of dental work. Well! I found it! The Dentist is very kind and did a great job...no pain at all and the ladies are sweet.
