Services
I grew up in a very small town in Illinois named Shiloh. One of my fondest childhood memories was the day I received my first dog, Peppi, a silver toy poodle. My mother gave me Peppi for my sixth birthday, and he became my best friend. We did everything together, and he was part of our family for many years.
Your pet is an important part of your family, and when he or she is ill, you want the best medical care available. The caring staff at Spencer Creek Animal Hospital are ready to provide your pet with cutting edge veterinary medical care. From wellness exams and vaccines to advanced diagnostics and complex surgical procedures, your dog or cat will receive high-quality care at our hospital.
We value your opinion. Your feedback helps our team continue to provide the best care possible for each and every patient. The best vet I have taken my dogs to. Staff is friendly and helpful. They are not out to just make money off of every animal that walks through the door. They understand that loving your pet doesn't always mean that you have extended financials to pay for expensive procedures.
Does your cat get scared when it's time to go to the vet? It's not uncommon. Between a car ride, an unusual environment, and the presence of strange, stressed dogs, going to the veterinarian can be an overwhelming experience for your feline friend. At Spencer Creek Animal Hospital, we understand coming to see us may not be your cat's favorite thing.
A comprehensive physical examination includes an evaluation of all of your pet's major organ systems. We'll use the visit to ask you questions about your pet's behavior, appetite, exercise habits, and regular activities at home. This is also an excellent time for us to discuss any routine diagnostic testing that may benefit your pet or to recommend any vaccinations that may be due.

We have used this animal clinic as long as it has been open. My dogs adore Dr. Miller and all the staff. Dr. Miller is the only vet my 16 dogs over the years have know. It’s more important to me to have a vet I completely trust than my own Dr. I always know I can take my dogs in and she will give them the best care possible. I trust everything she tells me about the problem and how to treat them. And she is always there with us and our dog when it comes time to say goodbye. And I would have it no other way.
Thank you Dr. Miller and all the wonderful vet techs I’ve had the honor of knowing

I would definitely recommend Dr Miller and Spencer Creek!!! They were so caring and helpful in diagnosing, treating and assisting my sweet cat to cross the Rainbow Bridge. They made an awful time a little easier with their compassion. Everyone we worked with there was so kind and helpful. Thank you for taking such good care of our sweet Mickey!!

We have loved this practice for years. They have been with us from the beginning of one dog joining our family to the end of life with another. The staff is kind, smart and responsive. Their dedication in diagnosing, giving supportive care and coordinating emergency treatment/surgery with an emergency vet hospital is why our dog is still with us. They are a great vet clinic that have become our friends.

The Vet I spoke with patronized me. I had to ask her 3 separate times “what are the symptoms of distemper?” before getting an answer. She even had the nerve to speak over me and wasn’t answering my question on the second ask. You’re a veterinarian and an expert in your field but that doesn’t give you the right to patronize me for asking questions. All I wanted was an understanding of symptoms to look out for. Asking questions is part of the process and blatantly ignoring my questions while responding with a yuppy patronizing tone is uncalled for. I don’t have $300 to shell out for vaccines

Great people work here. I Have been taking my dogs here for a year and a half and I couldn’t be happier with the care they have provided. They are compassionate, genuine people who truly seem to love what they do and they treat your pets right. One of my dogs recently had to have an urgent surgery, and while it was heartbreaking for me I felt more comfortable knowing that he was in good hands. Things went smoothly, they kept me updated on his progress and then called me multiple times to follow up and check on him. When it was time to get his stitches out, he was so scared that he wouldn’t

Our puppy had an ear infection. W/ his 8 week puppy visit, amoxicillin, one dose of heart worm preventative and ear drops, the cost was $619!!! They dewormed him again even though we gave them the paperwork that showed he’d already had all the recommended doses. Our breeder asked why they did that, my only guess is to tack on an extra fee. I asked abt neutering and they said for a 10 lb puppy $360 and that might not include anesthesia. Our breeder said they just had their retired female spayed at Carter Animal hospital and it was $200 and spaying is always more than neutering. The one vet
