Fresno Funeral Chapel is a family-owned funeral home that has been providing memorial services, funerals and cremation services to local families since 1926. We are the oldest and best funeral home in Fresno, and our professional, respectful funeral directors will communicate openly with you so that you know exactly what our services entail.
Each family may have unique needs and preferences when planning a service, which is why Fresno Funeral Chapel offers a full range of memorial options. You may be interested in home funerals or services in funeral homes, and we can work with you to plan a gathering that meets all your needs. In addition, we offer a veterans rate that eliminates travel fees to the closest two cemeteries.
The goods and services shown below are those we can provide our customers; you may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangement you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. I needed to help my family with the recent loss of my brother. The owner Steve Smith is an awesome man. He totally understands the challenges of unexpected circumstances. Not only is and was he compassionate but he treated us with kindness and dignity. I don't believe anyone else would have went to the limits he did. And talk about being fair with pricing. He was beyond reasonable. I would never go anywhere else or send friends to anyone else. PERIOD!

I recently attended a funeral service here at Fresno Funeral Chapel. It was absolutely filthy, so outdated it still has dark paneling walls and smelled horrendous. Their website is very deceitful!!! I would never want my family or friends to use this Chapel. I feel like even giving it 1 star is 1 star too many.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE EVER !!
My Mother pasted away over a month ago. I met with the Funeral Director Steven Smith two days later and made cremation arrangements of which I paid for in full at that time. I live out of state so I also paid extra to have the ashes sent to me along with two copies of the death certificates. After two week I called Fresno Funeral Chapel and asked what the status was of our Mothers Cremation. I was told that they needed her SS#. Although I did not understand why no one had contacted me with this request, I promptly called them back with it and was assured that
