We are glad you came. That day brought the realization of a vision. The dream was, and is, to provide a loving, beautiful environment where you may say good-bye to your family member with all the dignity and respect that you deserve. We have created a state-of-the-art facility that is specifically suited for funeral service.
The sensitive ambiance of our Chapel of Light provides a unique blend of warmth and openness that families have found to be a source of comfort. We have recently expanded our chapel to better accommodate your family and friends with seating for 175. Our new arrangement room and selection room were designed to give you ideas of how services may be personalized for the unique individual that your loved one was.

Services
Staff members of Kirk Funeral Home & Cremation Services are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Brian grew up in Rosholt, SD, and graduated from Rosholt High School in 1987.
We will assist your family in planning a funeral and choosing the options that suit your families needs and your loved ones wishes. We are able to assist you in holding services in a wide variety of areas. From our chapel, to your church or at the cemetery we are able to prepare a meaningful service to honor your loved one.

In addition to funeral services our staff also provides the following services. There are many advantages to planning a funeral ahead of time. By pre-planning a funeral, difficult decisions will not have to be made during a time of grieving and stress. You will be able to visit a potential resting site and have time to decide on and compare options.
Most of us are not prepared to plan and carry out a funeral ceremony for someone we love. And so much of the information available on this critically important subject fails to focus on what is most important: having a personalized, meaningful funeral that helps families and friends begin the healing process of mourning after the death of someone we love.

We have a family member that passed away recently and have family coming from out of state ...but because Kirk's is so busy they are not allowed to view the body ...the family can't stay for for the service's because of work ...ten mins was all the family wanted to pay there respect but Kirk's is to busy to let them say good bye to their loved one ...so Lord forbid you have a death ...and family coming in from out of state tell the family they can't say farewell to their loved one because Kirk's is to busy ....or tell your loved one to pass on a day Kirk's funeral home isn't busy...

For going above and beyond to answer all of my questions, help my dysfunctional, mourning, family feel comfortable, and making my once ill grandma look like an angelic art of perfection for her body's last moments on earth. She would of been so honored and appreciative. I will treasure our last moments together forever. ENDLESS THANK YOU'S!

I would recommend going here to anyone looking for kind hearted, knowledgeable, and empathic people. They went above and beyond.... Way beyond to help accommodate our wants and needs. They helped my family through everything to make it easier on them making hard decisions in an already really sad situation. Thank you for taking care of my family.

Dealing with the death of a loved one is one of the most painful things in life that one day most of us have or will have to deal with. The people at Kirk Funeral Home made the experience a little less painful with their professionalism and compassion. My Family and I so appreciated their help and attention thru the whole funeral arrangement process. A special thanks to Ken Kirk who help my family with my mother and Brent Woodward who helped with my father.
