Wandering Heart was birthed 10 years ago, and it's been a beautiful journey that has taken us throughout the Mid-West, with our primary focus being Bloomington and Indianapolis.
We have a knack for making our couples feel at ease in front of the camera, for knowing how to masterfully capture the unfolding, ever-changing, unpredictable moments of a wedding day, and for using the elements around us (lighting, atmosphere, mood, color, lines) to frame those moments in a way that is aesthetic, artistic, and emotive.

Sarah is extremely organized and detailed oriented, so by our wedding day I felt completely stress free about the photography portion of our wedding. The quality and quantity of our pictures were beyond what we could have asked for.

We very, very highly recommend Wandering Heart. Sarah and Frank were phenomenal to work with for our wedding. Sarah gives clear direction and was always open to our thoughts. For our engagement photos, we wanted to shoot at the state park where we got engaged and Sarah actually hiked miles with us to all our favorite spots. Prior to the wedding, Sarah was always easy to contact and helped us iron out the perfect timeline, although after COVID-19 hit, she was willing and flexible in accommodating any restrictions at the salon, etc.. We can't say enough great things about Wandering Heart photography. The photos from our wedding are STUNNING-- the biggest challenge is going to be finding an album big enough to hold the hundreds we completely love. Wandering Heart Photography was the best one of the best parts of our wedding day! Sarah and Frank quickly felt like old friends and they hyped us up all day. When we became behind schedule, both Sarah and Frank were able to keep us calm and worked amazingly quick to get all the family photographs we wanted. My family and friends thought they were amazing and kind. Sarah even helped my mom bustle my wedding dress. I can't thank them enough for everything.
