Couples walk in our door seeking help for a variety of problems. They walk out better equipped to deal with the miscommunication and mistrust at the heart of their troubles. Whether you're about to walk down the aisle, adjusting to a major life change, or coping with infidelity, we can show you the path forward.
A Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) is a mental health therapist who is trained exclusively to deal with relationship issues within a family system context. No, we do not accept any type of insurance directly. However, we can provide a signed form that you can submit directly to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
The Relationship Counseling Center of Maryland (RCC) stands in support and solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement as we feel that it is important to align ourselves with the values of racial equity, fairness and justice. We embrace BLM's commitment to eradicating racial discrimination and ensure human dignity for Black/African American people worldwide.

Felt like a scam. Get you in the door to take your $180 and don’t care if you come back again. Received no advice or hope…. Just an “ok, times up. If you’d like to schedule another appt please call or email”.
UPDATE: Owner personally reached out to me to apologize and rectify the situation. She also assured me my experience was not how her practice operates and that all staff has been addressed with what the expectations are for the initial consultation appointment. I feel the owner was sincere in her apology and efforts and I am hopeful for future experiences!

I think the therapist there are amazing! Wilson is awesome. He touches on things that I wasn't even aware of and makes a safe space to share and process the new information. That part is the most important thing to me. Thank you for the time and space to heal....properly.

I highly recommend Meg Tenny and the other therapists at the Relationship Counseling Center of Maryland. Meg is insightful, thoughtful, warm, and - bonus - has a great, down to earth sense of humor. As a couples therapist myself, a former employee of RCC, and a supervisee of Meg’s, I trust her and her highly trained team with my referrals to help couples and individuals with a variety of relationship issues.

Didn’t really give any fast or good advice. Basically each session would end with few or no objectives. We sat around talking until we figured out our own solutions which we could have done without M. T. And we would have saved thousands.
My advice find a weekend or week long program like the Option Institute or Weiner-Davis weekend.

As a therapist myself, I highly recommend Meg Tenny for compassionate, culturally competent, and effective therapy. Meg has been working as a therapist with a specialty in relationships and communications, and helps her clients find hope where it may not have been as readily accessible before. She has multiple locations and flexible hours to accommodate her clients' busy schedules. She has also been leading a team of expert mental health professionals so her network creates an extra layer of security and options for clients. If you are looking for a therapist who knows how to help you reach your

We went to see Meg 6 months ago with huge problems or so it seemed. The first few appointments are rough but things brighten a bit after a few sessions. My husband and I are by no means "fixed" however we are living a much better life and headed in the right direction. Meg's approach is honest, friendly, sincere, fair and funny.
