The Family Institute At Northwestern University
Whether it's struggling through any one of life's many stages, healing from trauma, repairing a broken relationship or learning to understand ourselves and loved ones better - taking care of our behavioral health is vital to our whole health and well-being. I truly appreciate The Family Institute's commitment to taking care of its staff and patients through implementing online therapy.

I am also inspired by their commitment to providing affordable mental healthcare to families throughout the Chicago area, and I recommend their services to anyone looking for a mental health provider. My son has received respectful, high quality services that have supported his development and emotional maturity during his adolescence.

Guiding children of all ages, along with their parents, through the many challenges of life at home, at school and with friends. Growing up is not easy, particularly these days. Young people face both peer and academic pressures, shifts in the family (like divorce or relocation), the onset of hormones in adolescence and the ever-present challenge of managing their emotions.

Understood that, with the pandemic, there isn't enough care available to those in need. However, they will put you on a wait list, then, after 3 months, remove you with a "do not reply" email. So unprofessional, and I don't understand how anyone cycles off of the wait list with this practice.

I was told I'd have 13 sessions by Incia Rashid, after I was unable to change our weekly time, I was told I would no longer be seen by her and would be transferred to another therapist. Those therapists have no availability. Incia will drop you after you invest money, time and emotional strength in your sessions. Her boss, Velizar Nikiforov, a creep, who's in his own words studied my file and has decided what kind of therapy I need, "has taken a special interest in me and told registration to direct all calls to him".

Incredible service. I love my therapist (she's an intern/ student)! She's better than the 3 other professional counselors I saw before her--combined.
